I knew I wasn't alone. It had one of the best battle themes (the one when you fight M(etal) Black).

This is one of my favorite battle themes ever:
SaGa Frontier had some of the most awesome battle themes.
Played through all characters. It had its flaws..but man, I strangely enjoyed that game.
Unlimited SaGa on the other hand..
Kenji Ito's music was bad-ass! Surpassing that of Uematsu's I'd wager.
If you've played this, then you know what's up.
Shits confirmed

We all knew it was coming... but damn.
Isn't that pretty much a death sentence for those offices?
As much as I enjoyed SaGa Frontier, I think the series has devolved into Square's "tech demo" series to test what does and doesn't work for new consoles.
That said, I fully expect one early in the PS4's cycle. I also fully expect it to be junk.
As per all these personell changes, I'm still holding out hope that it will eventually let the company focus on returning to older IP's. KH3 and XV actually gave me hope, and they HAVE to know they're in a very precarious situation with the industry itself going into a very unfamiliar "exploration" phase in the shift to digital and the expansion of online/cloud based technology. One IP (two if you count Dragon Quest, but we all know they won't fiddle with that too much because of Japan) will not keep them around for the PS5.
Dat feeling playing SaGa Frontier when you unknowingly walk into the wrong area and get brutally butt-fucked.
Loved that game lol.

The return of Mr. Housing is imminent.
http://www.vg247.com/2013/06/28/squa...re-enix-tokyo/Square Enix has explained Yoichi Wada’s new position at the firm as its Chairman of the Board.
According to Joystiq, Wada left the management of Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd and “no longer has any role in the parent company.
“Currently, he is overseeing a portion of the business within Square Enix Tokyo, one of the subsidiaries of the parent company,” the statement given to the site reads. “These businesses include emerging markets as well as social and mobile businesses.”
Wada’s current title of Chairman for Square Enix Tokyo does not give him the right of representation for the company as he holds “no authority in terms of the management of the Group.”

Translation " The market for mobile gaming is huge right now and we are really hurting for money. So we are going to try to capitalize on this and get some revenue flowing in. What we don't realize is, no one is going to buy our games outside of Japan because no one wants to pay $15 on a game for their phone. Don't be mad, we still have the trump cards of FFXV and KH3 to make money. Which we will continue to carrot on a stick you with along with remakes of FF games you actually want remade. Please buy our stuff."
It works in Japan right now because of a single game, Puzzle & Dragon, which the casual mobile Japanese market is obsessed with and constantly throws millions of yen at on a daily basis (true story, its stupid). Thus, the other studios are trying to capitalize on a single game, especially SE. Sadly, Capcom is trying to muzzle in there as well with the BoF 6 mobile and SF mobile trading card game.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I may be, but didn't dimensions do well?
