Thanks for the images and videos. Was so busy at work today I didn't even get a chance to see the screenshots until now.

Liking the new info about materia, sounds more similar to FFVII's system than the old system.

If materia continues to be a more generic boost to general stats, I'm all about it breaking on removal. I'd still like it though if there were some more specific spells, abilities, weaponskills or traits, etc that could come from rare materia... and in that case I'd like there to be a way (even if it's just 'throw gil at it') to remove it safely.

I'm not sure how it would affect the market because I don't feel like thinking about it, but I wonder how realistic a system would be that lets you choose between destroying the item to retrieve the materia and destroying the materia to purge the item (like Torchlight or other games I'm unaware of). Remember you'll always have the option of converting the item as well, so you should always have to balance pros/cons between:

- Destroy armor to retrieve your materia
- Purge armor slots, destroying slotted materia
- Convert armor, destroying the armor and all slotted materia, to create new materia (might not be a bad decision anymore with the reduction of materia randomness)

I just spent the evening taking lots of screenshots from the producer letter for my website. Took 69 in all. Quality is a bit poor because screenshotting from a Youtube video isn't great but at least you can see what's there. Click on them for bigger versions.

I've got a feeling there may be some weird server issue affecting some ISPs, not sure why. Been having problems viewing the site myself even before I posted that. Rebooting my router seemed to fix it temporarily so I put it down to my ISP having issues. People are getting on though according to Google Analytics.
