^This. Now that was epic drama. Several of them even had relics (back when they weren't so easy to get).

All in all, "he-who-shall-not-be-named" was truly an elite hacker. I'm sure he's working for the CIA now.

For those who can't figure out why some of us won't name him, for awhile, it was a bannable offense here. Nowadays, we just don't want to risk him noticing and doing something to us for it.

The best part was sneaking him into Vanafest '07 and proceeding with many lulz.

Him walking up to Ganibitch and Co. and waving and then placing down a card that said "From Atomos, with love" made that entire trip worth it.

Good times. Turned out to amount to nothing though. I think I got one or two angry tells, then never heard a peep about it again. Honestly, I still miss ffxiapp. XP was actually fun when you could 2 box a rdm without it being annoying and just focus on dumping all the DD you wanted, hate and mp be damned, heh. (also made building parties back before level sync SOOOO much more flexible)

I can neither confirm nor deny any involvement with sneaking him in, but if there were any pictures taken while he was there I'm not aware of it. He looked like what you'd expect someone like him to look like: skinny, long and greasy hair, etc.

• The FFXiAPP database dump was because the application had the MySQL info stored in it. The same reason why Wizshits database got dumped and leaked.
• The zone/player crashing was just a stupid exploit by sending malformed auto-translate packets.
• The bazaar locking/selling of items at 0 gil, or selling rare/ex items was just sending altered bazaar price packets.
• The email/pm leaks that he did were just Googled exploits from sites like milw0rm/inject0r.

Sorry but he wasn't any bit of an impressive person lol. He used to sit in Windowers IRC and beg for help with things like FFXi's encryption/decryption methods, constantly beg for Windowers source code etc. When ProjectXI started taking off, he stole code from them and ripped Tiny's packet injector to do what he did. He was nothing but a skid.

To seem like a douche… I am actually enjoying seeing a few posters on FFEvo asking Wiccaan to make a feature act more like mine did… and how it still crashes and doesn’t store all settings correctly, and he just completely ignores those people that mention my Clipper. And check this out, now people are doing EXACTLY why I didn’t make mines open source—they’re taking his code and posting it on Pastebin it seems with trojans. Seems to be having problems with working alongside Windower plugins as well lol. I understand that a guy needs his time to get out all of the bugs, I know, I know because I myself took forever to get it right. Even at my final release, I can’t say it was perfect. But did I ever claim that someone had stolen the program from me? Nope. If I had actually stolen the program from him, he shouldn’t be having this many problems that come up even AFTER he updates. He seems to understand the concepts and knows what has to be done, but he obviously has not found the little very very important details which made mine as stable as it was, and that was all I needed to see.
