It looks like Ronald D Moore (Creator of Battlestar Galactica) is trying his hand at another Syfy original.

Helix when a team of scientists from the Centers for Disease Control travel to a high-tech research facility in the Arctic to investigate a possible disease outbreak, they quickly find themselves pulled into a terrifying life-and-death struggle that holds the key to mankind's salvation or total annihilation.

Just finished the 3rd episode. Seems like things are going to ramp up from there.

EDIT: Also looks like Jeri Ryan is going to be in Helix too.

After the 2nd episode aired they advertised that the 3rd episode is available on demand or at syfy.com.

Edit: Even the previews are for episode 4. That's where I picked up on Jeri Ryan lol.

Oh, what the heck. In Canada this aired on Showcase but they only aired the first episode (or were the first two episodes combined in that hour and a half block?). To Syfy.com I go.

Episode 1 was called "Pilot", episode 2 is "Vector" and episode 3 is "274" so make sure you actually got to see the 2nd episode. Syfy is rerunning it until 5am EST. I liked it so much i'm leaving it on while gaming.

I'll need to rewatch this as I think I started watching episode 3 first. Seems good. Acting could be a little better but the story is cool. I don't expect much from Syfy and so far this hasn't disappointed.

Went in with really low expectations and that probably saved it. That being said, I liked it well enough. As Kalmado said, the acting is shaky, but it so often is while the actors figure out their characters. But yeah, putting the first 3 episodes out there like they are, Syfy must really be hoping that this gets a big audience

Just watched episode 3. It felt like the acting was better. Again, really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next episode.
