Then you're dead already, so you won't be answering the door to tell them to fuck off, and the suspect is chillin in your house.
Someone tryin to be a badass obviously
Are we discussing something that never happened?
What I mean is I don't ever remember hearing that people were "confined" to their houses. I remember hearing that citizens were "urged", "asked" to stay inside and lock their doors.
The OP implies that there was something akin to martial law imposed and I'm not sure that actually happened. Can someone link me to a police statement or governmental official saying otherwise? Perhaps I'm laboring under a misunderstanding.
Right, which is why i would tell the cops to come in, even with a gun to my head. More realistically though, i'd have already called the cops, when he came in. Like how is this an issue? No one is ever more than 3 feet from a cell phone, so if someone breaks in, you call 911 immediately (I'm sure most people knew something was going on, and were on alert). If you get shot before then, the neighbors are going to call 911 when they hear the shot.
if no one is home, then fine, whatever, search the house. If they are though, i don't see any reason it would really be necessary to do it against their wishes.
Are you really assuming every single person has a cell phone? One that is fully charged and always right next to them at all times? No exceptions.? Dont be fucking dense.
You're saying you would let a cop come in, Even with a gun to your head. And you are saying you would tell a coop to fuck off. I know you like to troll, but maybe figure out which way you wanna go with it first.
I would let them in only if a gun was to my head. If it wasn't, then I'm either dead, and can't do anything, he left after i called the police, or he was never there to begin with. Or i suppose it's possible he chose to stay there knowing the police were coming, and not bother to take me hostage, but then i wouldn't still be there to let them in anyway.
I'd like to point out it is possible to break into someone's house and hide somewhere without them noticing even if they happen to be home.
Okay, who seriously believes Boston even became anything close to a "Police State"?
I need people to laugh at.
Anecdote:
When I was in middle school my mom and I came home one afternoon. Started walking up our stairs and heard a huge slam on the upstairs porch door, and someone running down the steps. Went to our rooms, we had been robbed (nothing major, money in my parents drawer and they fucking stole my piggy bank, which had been a gift from a close friend of mine). If we hadn't gone upstairs (kitchen and living room are downstairs) guy could have hid upstairs for hours and we never would have known.
Maybe it's because the idiots here that are posting living in tiny ass houses or some shit. NE houses are on average fairly large compared to some other states (fuck my parents house could easily be worth 2 million if it were in california). It would be very VERY easy to hide on someone's property without them knowing it.
also, as dbz said above I think most people were complying because they wanted a) be safe and b) to help the cops. And there's nothing wrong with that in a situation like this.
BUT FREEDOMS
Sure, which is why some people might choose to let the police search their house in this scenario. That isn't always possible though, and for those who are sure no one is hiding in their home, they should have the right to refuse.
What is so confusing about this? If someone broke into my house, i would call 911, and gtfo, letting the police do what they need to to handle it. If not, i will not let them in to search for someone i know is not here.but fuq da police! I am badass! But I would call 911 if the guy was in my house! But then I wouldn't let them in!
I think you are just being willfully ignorant and trolling just to create controversy. I have seen some intelligent stuff come from you and I just can't believe that you are truly this ignorant of how real world application works in this case.
You don't always have the option to call the police or gfto, either one. If you tell the police to fuck off, you just gave them a very real reason to suspect you of something untoward. They are already on edge with tons of adrenaline going. Provoking them is not really that smart.
Then we start talking about you not knowing there is anyone there at all because you were wearing your headphones and the dude broke into a room across the house and is hiding. I could go on but I don't think you will understand the variables and nuances of police searches and manhunts.
Telling the police nope when there is potentially a very dangerous individual around seems pretty illogical and suspicious. I don't know the legalities of it, but I suppose you could probably tell them to piss off, but it's not going to make sense to them either and they're probably going to think you're up to something involving said person.
hey confirmed for either living in a one-room house or pedophile
