I just want to know, in the aftermath how many people that were searched are pissed.
Because this really sounds like a lot of people on the outside complaining for the sake of complaining, rather than any actual real issue here.
From all I've read, people in watertown were proud to feel like they were helping to capture the guy. Let them decide if their rights were violated since they were the ones actually there. And there's no guns to their heads now.
Appeals to emotion are worthless.
People didn't feel their rights were being violated when the Patriot Act was proposed but that doesn't really mean anything.
I am actually almost 100% (was a long time ago) I heard tons of people bitching about the Patriot Act when it was being put into law.
[edit] even in the aftermath of 9/11 a fuckton of people were pissed at Bush. You can't really say that the people affected by it weren't upset.
I fee like iv gone in a circle as I answered that just because you are not pissed does not mean something was legal. Why is that so hard to grasp?
If every person in the USA said it was fine, but one person said "no" if said person could quote a law he is right(and could go to court), at least till it is ruled on or changed.
I bet in the coming months we will see suits filed and the city making deals so a president can not be made(and it wont look as bad)
Not the thread to zoom-text so I'll leave it at that.

Teehee...We don't even know where our president was made...Though I am pretty sure I know how.
I have no idea how I would have responded to many many police with heavy arsenals demanding entry into my house. I have a "fuck you, you can't make me" knee jerk reaction in general when I am told I HAVE to do something or that I CAN'T do something.
Seeing all that firepower and adrenaline would certainly be a good motivator for me to cooperate. Does that mean I was under duress or coerced simply by their show of force?
There are not many people that will act belligerent and contrary when presented with a real possibility of pain, suffering, and possible death at the hands of a LEO with an itchy trigger finger who has been searching for a dangerous person for 16 hours.
I'm a little fuzzy on this one, I am probably wrong but if the people left a kilo sitting out in the open in their coffee table I think they could legally snag them for it since it was in plain sight and they were invited in, but if it was life, in their sock drawer I don't think they could. That said, I highly doubt the SWAT groups clearing houses were remotely interested in anything other than their intended target.
I meant Mick Jagger :/
Mila Jovovich obv, bunch of dudes thinkin of other dudes...
Uh, I'm pretty sure she meant Mary Jane.
Spoiler: show
