YES
Whaaaaaaaaat?!
(cautiously optimistic)
What's this, a video game movie that might actually be decent?
Can't go wrong.
at least they aren't trying to go w/a heavily CG'd live action movie
The humor and the animation in the trailer were spot on. I have high hopes.
LOL looks good! Hope it is ._.a

solid cast
Went and saw it.
It's ok. Doesn't have the character development for Ratchet and Clank like the game did, but not surprising considering the runtime plus extended cast. Performances are good, I have complaints about Drek, but it's writing/characterization, not Giamatti.
It's fine for a kids movie though, go ahead and take yours if you got em. If they want the game, idk about the PS4 remake, but the PS3 has a HD port trilogy of the three main PS2 games.
Plenty of callbacks of game stuff to catch for old players (Plumber even has a cameo, but no lines), but not handled so poorly that it's bad pandering.
There are a number of shots that were bad "throw shit at the screen for the 3D tickets", but can't speak to if it's otherwise worth seeing in 3D.
Is it a "good" video game movie? Well, it's not going to be an iconic film, not going to win major awards.
But it's not a steaming pile.
