getting reaaaaaaaally tired of this mobile rubbish..
First the Suikoden thread gets bumped, then this.
April fools all month long.
What a crappy game this is gonna be...
obviously a change in leadership is just leading to even bigger fuck you's
Maybe it's not a change in leadership guys; I don't know how long it takes for even a crappy game to get made. This could of been in the pipe for a while.
I'm not buying this though, already got enough money problems as it is. ^^
Not really all that surprised. With Wada being replaced with the CFO, every move they make for the foreseeable future is going to be based entirely on monetary gain, and love them or hate them, these social games just shit money into SE's hands.
Like someone said in the thread earlier, there's people that dump $50+ every week of every month into that Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade just to get some rare shiny that gets replaced in another month. I wouldn't really expect to see much in terms of quality titles from them in the near future, unless XIV recovers and turns into a golden goose for them.
trailer
lol
This can't be as bad as FF: ATB, right? Right???
Good fucking God why are they calling this tactics?
Because buy our product, Japanese players, so we can stop crying.
wow that looks like garbage
Would have liked a legit Tactics 2, came in here hoping and was sorely let down :/
Some developers just want to watch the world burn.
Seriously SE, it's not that fucking difficult.
I don't want another game with Ramza in it but I do want a Tactics game with actual tactics, an isometric grid and more borrowed elements from Tactics Ogre. How about a serious storyline with politics, betrayal and overarching themes of morality? Ah, too much huh.
I'd rather have more TO than FFT. At this point having FF in the title is just a liability and an obligation.

Square Enix has a new Final Fantasy Tactics social spinoff that includes over 300 jobs from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Final Fantasy Tactics A2. Final Fantasy Tactics S even introduces two brand new jobs, the Air Samurai and Musician.
Players start by creating a clan and recruiting members with gil. You can earn gil by completing quests and strengthen you clan further by purchasing new gear. What’s neat is Final Fantasy Tactics S has a clan vs. clan battle system where you can challenge other players. You can bring up to nine clan members into a battle. It looks like Mobage simplified the "tactics" part of the game since the maps look like flat fields. I suppose that should be expected since this is a social game, after all. Final Fantasy Tactics S is out in Japan now. It has not been announced for the West, but DeNA (the company that owns Mobage) brought over Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade so there’s a chance it will be localized.
I'm playing PSP TO and I must say I agree with this 100%. I especially like the multiple plot paths, having more playable characters and more enemies in battles, and no one as game-breaking as Orlandeau (at least not yet, I'm not done with everything). Just get rid of crafting plox.
Please be excited.
