Took my Beret, traded it to Benjamien J-10 Western (Inventors)

He offered 3 starting Augments? (Mezzotint Equipment?)
A: Attack +8
B: Ranged Attack +8
C: Evasion +8

So... You trade him the gear, select a path (no item needed for this)
Then it lists on the item [1] -------------
Which I assume means you now need an Airlixer/+1/+2 to receive the augment, of the path you chose.


Also the Key Item you receive for killing one of the NM's inside Delve (maybe it's coutnerpart outside too?)
Unlocks the gear to be purchasable from Forri-Porri NPC just across from Benjamien.

How did you get the Beret so quickly? That's 17,500 points and it hasn't even been a full day, if the corpuscles are that easy to get I'm not too worried about this content (at least this portion of it).

Divagating Jagil in Foret (III) (J-10)

Went fine down to ~50% with sushi and buffs (near full alliance). I didn't see it use Tabula Rasa, but it casted Embrava on itself, then tried to cast Kaustra on us (stunned), and then went insane. Throughout the fight he was rotating spells (tier IV gas of different elements). After Embrava, he gained en-spell effect of the last element he cast for 2000+ damage. Started one shotting people, was nuts. Absorbs particular elements based on... something. Couldn't really figure it out.

Seemed like a rune fencer mob, lol.

so if I want a item and cant find a group to kill the real nm´s for the item, I could still just spamm the "easiest" nm until I have enough points to buy my item or even "leech" points in other groups?

just woke up, read through the thread so the summry is:

kill NM and hope for a KI?(is it even 100%?)
after get KI, you can buy respective equip that NM drops?
use shards/kill more nms to get enough Corpuscles and buy them?
beads are used to combine with delve KI to remove the NM form the fraction? (already explained in patch notes)
every NM got a "weakness" to stop their hentai mode?

anything else i miss?

the prices on the equip isnt expensive tbh... considering any shard gives 100 per, and with thf they drop like crazy, you can just set quarter master with a mule, and use every shard you get and still get maybe 1-2k an hour
its definately better than rolling against 18 peeps

as for airlixir +2 price.... no comments there, i doubt anyone of us are surprised after ghast +2 haha

I didn't mention this earlier, because I'm not positive. But I believe we got 500 Corpuscles for the NM, and 50 for each nq mob in the way.
So... If I could get people on Asura to team up, I'd like to go in, and just kill as many NQ's as possible to farm them.
I suppose if you trust PUG enough, you can try to kill the NM itself, but... I don't lol.

Well, my Chapuli definitely cared. Thunderstorm and Heavenly Strike went from doing 1800-2100 damage to doing ~220 entirely reliably. When I said something about it, our Corsair noted that he experienced a drop from unresisted Shots to constant 1/8 resists at the same time. This resistance was never removed and I never saw a single resist until it happened.

We went into the fight with a magic heavy setup (2x SAM/THFs, ~6x magic DD), so perhaps it was punishment for not properly balancing our damage types =p. Heh, if that was the case then maybe overall we're being punished for not using sufficient ranged damage.

before you showed up, we did the melee version, with mads, hunters and idr what other buffs, the highest acc DD was rag DRK with 31%, sam/thf second at 24%.
also after it raged, ochain became essentially useless. (went through a minute of reprisal and palisade with ochain on, and failed to see one block)

OK, pugil NM (Divagating Jagil) rotates spells in this order: Fire > Ice > Wind > Earth > Thunder > Water > Light > Dark ( > Fire > etc.)

He can cast Embrava/Holy/Diaga III when light is up, and Kaustra/Meteor/Dispelga when dark is up. He also has en-spell effect matching the element that's up. Knowing what element is next will work extremely to your advantage if you know what you're doing. For the other six elements, his three available spells are xx-ja, xx-ga IV, and whatever the worst -ga enfeeble you can think of is for that element (addle-ga, stun-ga, breakga, poisonga iii, silencega, paralyga). He almost always casts two spells of one element before rotating to the next. The enspell will get more and more potent throughout the fight. It can become extremely potent under certain conditions, but we couldn't figure out what caused it. The fight where we won, it was up to about 500-600 add effect near the end. On our wipes, it was up near 3000 add effect at the time we wiped.

Got 6x NQ airlixirs (lul) + KI for the kill. KI made the following available:

Manibozho Gloves (17.5k)
Bokwus Circlet (17.5k)
Psystorm Earring (8k)
Mikinaak Greaves (15k)
Bokwus Slops (17.5k)
Mephitis Grip (8k)

17 of us entered the fracture afterwards just to mess around. Ran into our fish friend again, didn't bother killing him, just kited him around while we killed other normal stuff. Everything normal in the fracture gives 50 each, and we were able to accrue a decent chunk (~1k in the fracture) before losing enough people that we decided to HP. Could see farming in here with a party, like they said previously, as long as you can avoid the NMs successfully. Found the Craklaw and Uragnite together on one site (note that we aggroed these, the person who aggroed died, and we found out they do not have alliance hate), and Krab NM.

The NM was not an easy fight (think sky gods circa 2004). Took us two wipes to figure out what was up and the fight where we killed it was challenging and long (we were teetering right on the brink of him raging, near 20 minutes), but could definitely see the improvement from one fight to the next. Totally enjoyed it.

how did you deal with the enspell tho, RUN? there isnt any bar spell for dark and light even if barspells reduce the damage significantly

It was only hitting me for around 300 at its peak before dying with Aegis. People still died because keeping hate when you need damage so fast is impossible, but we didn't wipe (well, we did when it raged, but the run after was good!).
