So ending was a whole lot of meh. Felt way too rushed, and almost as if the series and the epilogue had different writers. Speaking of the epilogue, it seemed like it was trying to wrap everything up, but it was so poorly done, and a lot of the questions from even season 1 were unanswered. It's like the last few minutes, they realized the show was about to be over, so they quickly had to put all the pieces together, but did so incredibly poorly. I don't even know.. Part of me is just glad the disaster is over.

Biggest complaint -- fuck Shoko, she doesn't deserve to be an immortal Valvrave pilot.

Also, if I follow the ending, the resolution of the Magius problem was that they killed off their bodies. The bodies that these immortal spirits, which can just as easily jump to another body, possessed. Yeah, ok, sounds resolved to me..

So....like how did the "immortal" pilots die, but the chick that got stabbed through the heart is cool and the dude that got his throat slit is a-ok? This show was pretty good up until the mid-season break, but it went pretty much to shit as soon as they went to earth

So just marathoned season 2. I enjoyed it up until some of the bullshit from the later episodes that you guys already highlighted. It really felt like they got to episode 24 and suddenly realized that was the last one and they had to end it.

Why does Haruto even lose memories/runes while piloting his Valvrave? I thought that was just an issue with what's-her-face not having a rune limiter or whatever. Is it just because he's been piloting his for a whopping 3-4 more battles than the other pilots and/or they died/didn't fight enough before it became an issue?
