Transfering MX only to go daddy
Have a friend that wants to go away from her email company because they sucks
She currently have mail.domain.com (exemple)
She also has a website with them and she likes it www.domain.com
What is the best way to transfer the MX mail.domain.com to go daddy (to foward the DNS to google apps, because she wants to use google apps for email) and keep the A record where it is now?
Thanks

Call godaddy and ask them what they can do for you in that regard. They likely have services like that in place already.

I donated 5 bucks and all I got was this shitty title from Zet
All she needs to do is log into her DNS provider account and change the MX record to point to the new mail server IP. Later, if she wants to, she can transfer the entire domain to a different provider if she wants to, but I'm 99% sure you can't transfer "part" of a domain.
