You have to have finished all 3 nations quiz and you can only ask for an item from any of the Oblivious Adventurers once each earth day/JP midnite it seems. That sucks if its tied to a specific answer you give him D: have to keep trying the options til it works.

Tried the previously mentioned Bastok - Ugl Range - Club answers and received an Ash Club as well. I'm a Sandy Elvaan if that matters.

I've tried each class of item, and the top items appear to be Redeyes for headpiece, Nomad Moogle Rod for club, and one of the Rolanberry pieces of furniture (was hoping for Judgement Day so bad lol).

Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, but this is my third day checking with the Oblivious Adventurers, and the Moogle that reports your adventuring stats is now mentioning he has another gift for me, though I can choose to wait to get something better. This is the first day of checking him after all cities have 5 stars, so imagine that's the trigger. I chose to wait.

The waiting is the same mechanic we've had in past years. Without waiting, I've received Chocobo Tickets, Mog Missiles, and some sort of a bubble firework.

I haven't opted to receive anything after any substantial waiting time, but in past years, we've received Chocobo Wands, Mog Belts, Homing Rings, and other similar items.

Choosing West Ronfaure and Furnishing from the Oblivious Adventurer in San d'Oria got me a Rusty Bucket.

Edit 5/19: Same for Ranguemont Pass and Furnishing.

Edit 5/20: Uleguwhatever Range and Club got me an Ash Club.

Going to try all zones for one NPC then move on. Ash club on first two zones for SanD NPC. Curious if that'll change on third.

Also, anyone tried doing it with full inventory?

Can you get one item from each Oblivious adventurer (from each city) per day? Or just one adventurer total each day?

Has anybody been able to do anything with the Aspiring Adventurers that are running around?

Did the same thing, Ash Club :/ Also, finished all 3 nations and gave it a shot.... only 1 Oblivious adventurer total per day.

They're from last year or maybe the year before that even. I think you get the +1 version of the dress/suit from them? I forget, but one of the wiki's should have info on it.

    Side note:
I've gotten 2 ash clubs and a rusty bucket so far from the oblivious adventures.

That's kinda annoying... Talked to NPC, he said "Was it this?" and showed an ash club +1, then "How about this...?" and showed the moogle rod, and then got all excited "Yes, this's it!" "I"m so excited that I was able to reunite you two!"

and he gave me a fucking ash club Did it glitch or does he just do that?

He'll always show you two items then give you the item that he didn't show. I've only spoken to the Oblivious Adventurer once in Bastok, mashed enter, got lucky with the nomad moogle rod from North Gustaberg.

It just says "you cannot obtain the item" doesn't tell you what item.

    Edit
Just wanted people to check out the nice stuff people have added to the guide

Not sure if it means anything, but I've tried all three oblivious adventurers, and I think the Windurst and Bastok ones both said something about a nice little moment we shared, while the San d'Orian one tells a story about how he was struggling and I laughed at him and ran off. I'm from San d'Oria and they're first in conquest and have the most tests completed, no idea if one of those is why he seems to say something negative or if that's just what he says no matter what.

All of them just mention a tale corresponding to the area. Elvaan from Sandy as well, and the Taru in Windy said (after picking Tam. Canal) that I ran around looting all the chests while she was still being beaten on by monsters lol.

I'm wondering if they say different things to different people though. I did it three times in Sandy and each one was a story about how he was fighting or fell down a hole and then I was a dick to him, and I did Bastok today and he just said one line about how we had a nice chat under the drachenfall.

Right now I'm thinking if they say different things, maybe you might get better odds talking to one that doesn't tell a story about you being a jerk.
