That trailer was for the TV series, so not sure what's up here.
you're right, I'm wrong..
or am I?
Halo5 is HaloTV. Jokes on ya'll.
Also, speaker mentioned HaloTV after trailer, hence confusion.
Is even more confusing that it just says "Halo", so either they're trying to avoid the numbers game by giving it an ODST/Reach-like monicker, otherwise I don't see why they wouldn't just throw a 5 in there.
In all fairness, MS is extremely confusing haha.
She did announce a new game, and even tried to get a cheap pop for saying "60fps" as if it's something special. But she did mention the halo TV series they blabbed about at the Juan reveal.
Or maybe it's Halo One.
Halo 5 or Halo TV series...excite!

http://mp1st.com/wp-content/uploads/...h_1280x720.jpg“2014 is here and much is afoot in the Halo universe,” writes former creative director Josh Holmes in a recent HaloWaypoint blog entry. “This past year has been a time of great transition at 343 as we’ve moved our engine and team from Xbox 360 to Xbox One and begun building the next chapter in the Halo saga. We’re proud of what we accomplished with our first release in Halo 4 and now we’re focused on something much more transformative as we make the leap to the next generation of Xbox.”
The post goes on to recap a few of the personnel changes made within the studio over the past year, including the addition of new creative director Tim Longo who worked on games like Tomb Raider, Star Wars: Republic Commando and most recently, the unreleased FPS, Star Wars: First Assault. A few words were also said by former Art Director, Kenneth Scott, who recently left the studio.
To wrap things up, Holmes teased a brand new image of the 343′s upcoming, untitled Halo project, saying, ”I will leave you with this image from Sparth – an early exploration of a new location that features prominently in a little game project we’re tinkering with…. “

It was recently reconfirmed by 343 Industries senior PR manager that the next Halo game is still on track for a 2014 release on Xbox One, though it has yet to receive an official title.
Master Chief VA, Steve Downes, says no Halo 5 until 2015, Halo 2 Anniversary before the end of the yearhttp://gematsu.com/2014/02/master-ch...versary-comingHalo 2 Anniversary is a thing and Halo 5 isn’t coming until next year, according to Master Chief voice actor Steve Downes.
Speaking with GameZone, Downes said, “I think you may be ahead of yourself on Halo 5. I wouldn’t expect anything until 2015. What you can look forward to this year is an anniversary edition of Halo 2.”

Anyone else get the feeling this game is gonna be rushed out and compete with Halo 2 for the title of most unfinished Halo game?
Finish the f
For real though, if they just shit out another Halo game, Their own Titanfall exclusive is gonna steal all it's thunder. I really hope Microsoft saw that shit coming as it should have and stepped it's game up. It's kinda ironic, I remember daydreaming ideas after Halo 2 with wall running (Though I would have had your entire camera PoV flip with you when you jumped off the wall) . Shoulda hired my dumbass to make Halo 3. Couldn't have been much worse.
What? 3 was fine, 2 was the one that had problems. People who worked at Bungie at the time even have come out and said that it wasn't ready to be released, but so many people had committed to the release date (Peter Moore getting the release date tattooed for instance), there was no way they could delay it anymore -- which also led to needing to make Halo 3. Halo 1 also had the problem of being released too early, but not nearly as bad.
