Holy fuck.

Halo 4 was one of the best looking (console, before any of you chucklefucks tries to get smart) games of the previous gen (and I'll say it's still one of the best looking games on X1/PS4), so Buck looking more like Nathan than Nathan does shouldn't surprise anyone. Halo 5 will be a gorgeous game.
http://kotaku.com/even-halos-scaling...een-1710624868One of Halo’s staples has been the ability to play the game’s campaign in split-screen with a friend. Halo 5 won’t have that feature, in favor of maintaining a solid 60 frames-per-second.
Could not care less. And that's only for Campaign, the game will still have local 2 player splitscreen multiplayer.
It's likely not just about the frame-rate itself either. If any of the logic is tied to the refresh rate it would be no bueno to have it bouncing around or dropping frames.
Ben got played like a two dollar fiddle

Premium Requisition Packs makes me think they're adopting the Advanced Warfare/Battlefield/CS:GO model of in game unlocks (presumably camos/armor/etc). Especially with all the maps being free it makes sense they'd still have an optional way to give them more money.
also they include an animated Fall of Reach series
I love Conan. He always has no idea what hes doing in these gaming segments but he has a fucking blast doing it

You earn REQ Points after each match in Arena or Warzone multiplayer, and you can spend them on REQ Packs. Each pack contains a variety of requisitions (REQs): unlockable weapons and armours, skins, assassination animations and more. You'll also get REQ Packs as rewards when you level up your Spartan Rank (SR) and complete Commendations across multiplayer.
Now, you can buy REQ Packs with real-world money "as a matter of convenience", with a portion of the proceeds going toward prize pools for the Halo Championship Series.
While players will earn REQ Packs across both Arena and Warzone, only cosmetic items can be used in our Arena experience. This is to ensure that all players start with the same weapons and abilities as part of our vision for the balanced, competitive play in Arena multiplayer.
In Warzone you can use weapons and vehicles from your inventory of REQs throughout a match, but they're balanced, Holmes said, by Warzone's in-match REQ Level and Energy systems, which are driven by player and team performance within the mode.
This would be amazing if you could also play as the Covenant in the midst of a war zone.
And it won't..
http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2015/0...l-multiplayer/A Microsoft spokesperson confirmed to Ars Technica that Halo 5: Guardians will not support any form of split-screen multiplayer, nor will the game natively support LAN play.
