The idea of AI fitting along side in PvP combat is something I have been wanting for a while. But if they make the AI retarded/too easy. Then it will be for naught. I have yet to see any AI that compares to a human.

TO BE EXPLICIT:

All textures in this Alpha Test build are at 25% of the final game's resolution. So if you're staring at a 256x256 texture, that's actually a 512x512 texture in the real game. 512? That's a 1024. It's a huge, huge, huge difference. Especially on terrain, weapons, cockpits, hands, effects, etc.

There's a reason the build is under NDA. It's not for showing off, or giving people a fair idea of what the game looks like, or for pixel counting. You'll still have your chance to scream "lolz pixels lazy devs Goldeneye N64 lololololol", but now is not the time.

also the super secret alpha forum confirms this, and that this test is for network connectivity/matchmaking/etc

A Titanfall beta might be in the works, according to a recent notification on EA’s gaming client, Origin.

Earlier today, upon visiting the official Titanfall page on Origin, a small notification in the top left corner could be spotted, reading, ”The beta is coming. Prepare for battle.”

The notification has since been removed, indicating that someone may have jumped the gun on the announcement.

Originally, Respawn Entertainment community manager Abbie Heppe mentioned the possibility of a beta, but wasn’t able to make a confirmation at the time. This came shortly after the game’s Xbox One-exclusive limited technical test earlier last week.

As of this writing, we’ve yet to hear an official announcement on the matter, but we’ll be sure to let you know if one is made.

so thought i'd do a bit of snooping on Game to see if they had any PC Collectors editions left (no idea they normally tell you if there sold out this page doesn't even have an add to basket button) so next step, check out there xbox versions, Bitches can keep there game £249.99 for a Collectors edition seems like these guy have been snorting to much coke since Activision kicked them out ><

obviously not something I personally find appealing, but I'm sure some people would actually be proud of their 20 inch titan statue.
and it's arguably a better display item than a cheap rc helo or 'tactical camera' cough call of duty cough. or miniature master chief helmet.

i think someone said it was $149.99 so i thought i'd look over it if it was the same in Pounds, it truly was not (someone might have pressed the 1 instead of 2 and not noticed tho) wasn't Guild war 2's CE like £450?

titanfall CE is $249, which admittedly is just silly. dunno about GW2, the only Collector's Edition I see says $150 so that would be an atrocious markup

yeah the bots are pretty dumb, although I get the point of them, something for less skilled people to focus on and still feel like they're contributing. needless to say I've killed oodles of them because I suck at vidya. at least they're worth less than human opponents as far as scoring goes, even focusing on them pretty heavily will probably be less helpful to the team than focusing on humans
