bundle was preorder initial shipment only, they aren't currently plans to reprint it. hard enough to find the adaptor stand alone

Still hard to find. Gamestop putting out some bundles at 139$ but it's a god damn ripoff if you just want the adapter (4 29.99$ GC controllers + Wii U Adapter).

How Nintendo could be so fucking slow to produce adapters is beyond me. They cost about 50¢ to make.

It is a bad deal, because it's a retail store directly taking advantage of consumers even though a $100 manufacturer bundle existed.

It's not the same shit they pulled with Xenoblade, but it's still pretty bad nonetheless. Nintendo would benefit greatly by putting out a public statement regarding the adapters. It's bad enough that it can be made to look like GS was hoarding their supply of the individual adapters (and that's probably what they were doing all along).

There's also a ridiculous over supply of the GC Smash edition controller. I haven't seen those go out of stock again after a few months.

Good luck selling the extra copy of Smash, too. I've had mine for $50 on eBay for weeks now.

Personally, i've been just using my pro controller for now while waiting to snag a adapter. Was thinking of grabbing one of the knockoffs from amazon, but decided to just wait.
