Looking forward to the dick monuments. Seriously though this will probably be the most interesting MMO world ever created on launch. No clue if the game itself will be any good, but I'll def. have a great time exploring the world.

I can not wait to to just pick a random spot and start digging a tunnel down into the ground and finding massive amounts of booty or death.... that's all I want booty or death.
most player generated stuff wont look as good as these lol.
One of the announcements that came out of Pax, was EQNext will have a Parkour system similar to Assassins Creed. It means instead of manually jumping, climbing, flipping, the game will automatically do it for you. This will lead to incredible animations/movement in the game according to SOE.
Here is a Demo of this new system in action.
it looks really dumb, there is a disconnect between the world and character
So does this mean Mages and Paladins in heavy armor are going to flip flopping all over the place like fucking Gymnasts?
This is one of the most promising things about this game for me, an MMO with an actual living world again rather than everything in instances.

Beta announced this month? That looks like it was posted in October
Landmark = minecraft?
Looks even worse than I expected, and I was expecting a shitshow.
maps and landmark looks awful, still waiting to see some real gameplay
I gotta admit that I like the fact that you can at least move the fuck around rocks and shit instead of us being doomed to a future of videogames where the best you can do is run against a goddamn stone instead of clambering over it. The sooner that era of gaming gets here, the better.
Parkor in my third-person title? Actual agility in my third-person title? Sign me up.
I hope they improve their animation, cus atm it looks like shit.
Remember when first-person shooter animation looked like shit? Remember Castle Wolfenstein?
Every major concept has to start somewhere. If this is that somewhere, then the least I can do is nod my cap at it while waiting for the future to be ushered in.
OH cmon =/, this genre isn't new though, and proper movement in a third person environment isn't either. The concept is totally awesome yes, but the animations should match the next generation push they are going for. If there was some improvement seen from that most recent vid compared to what they first showed, I would be ok with it, but there was no change. Yes it could be placeholder generic animations, hopefully.
