The Town redeemed Afleck for me but I still think he's shit pick for Batman. His succesful roles imo are the ones where he just plays average Joe and I don't see him as a Bruce Wayne and a brilliant detective

Since I'm sure a lot of people are going to be unhappy with this, who would you guys rather have seen cast to play Batman? I was talking with a few friends tonight after hearing the news, and I would have loved if Jim Caviezel got the role. Imagining how he could bring parts of Reese from Person of Interest into Batman would have been great.
