Kept seeing this at the bottom when logging in for the past few days, figured I'd toss it here incase anyone else was just as lazy or only checks BG.

Summertime is finally upon us!

What's summer without fun in the sun and a hearty helping of laughter? Whether you spend your time enjoying the ocean breeze in your Mog Garden, working on your tan on Purgonorgo Isle, or barbecuing up Mithkabobs for you and your friends, you're making countless memories each day. We want you to share a funny summer moment with the rest of Vana'diel by snapping summer-related screenshots and putting them together with text to create a four-panel comic!

Event Period
Friday, July 19, 2013 to Friday, August 2, 2013 at 6 p.m. (PDT)

How to Participate
Create a four panel comic by taking four in-game screenshots and writing text below to accompany each image, while following the theme of the contest.

* Please do not write text directly on the image.
* Please limit the text for each screenshot to 1-3 sentences (up to 2 lines of text). Text does not need to be included for every image if you choose.

Theme
"A funny summertime moment"

Once your screenshots and text are ready to go, please post your images and text in the Entry Thread. Images should be arranged vertically and in sequential order so the comic can be read from top to bottom.

Please practice posting or place any other discussion related posts in the Discussion Thread.

* Please note that some image hosting websites, such as Flickr, will delete images when an account is inactive for a certain amount of time, so make sure to verify this when choosing a site to host your entry image.

Winners
The best five (5) comics will be awarded with a prize.

One entry per person. If multiple entries are posted, only the first one submitted will be accepted.

Square Enix reserves the right to judge whether or not material is appropriate for public display.
This event is open to North America Square Enix account holders only. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Inappropriate submissions will be moderated. If entries fall under any of the below categories, it will result in a disqualification and the post will be deleted by a moderator:
Any posts containing obscenity, vulgarity, discrimination, or any other offensive subject matter
Infringements upon copyright/intellectual property, personal credit, privacy, etc.
Counter to public order and/or morals
Submissions with content judged to be grossly deviant from the established theme
Images that have been heavily modified by photo editing software

Selection
The Community Team will select winners based on screenshot composition and overall creativity of the entry.

Gdi I wanted to steal food

I was one of the five NA winners. A GM sent me a /tell this morning, and the Atomos Statue automagically appeared in my inventory after a short conversation. Felt like I was getting pulled over... I thought those rewards just appear in your Delivery Box.

Anyway, I crafted the statue up to a Beastman Gonfalon. It's 2 x 5 in your Mog House and only gives Moghancement: Dark. I was hoping for something more exciting, but it does look pretty cool.
