BoF3 is my favorite out of the series, BoF2 is a close runner up. If you're going to play them all make you don't play 1 and 2 within close proximity to each other cause you'll get fatigue from essentially playing the same game twice. They're different games and storylines but they're just similar enough that you're like "been there done this" the entire way through if you just played it's SNES counterpart.

2 is the best because shaman fusions. katt + devil + fire = unicorn goddess from hell.

but then 3 has awesome dragon combos and gene-splicing, plus portability now. and 3 nina is the best nina of all, plus the kid storyline is actually really fun. yeah I'd say 3 is the better game, but 2 has some surprisingly great moments for an old-school JRPG.
