Ampador chest for Demon Brick
Turtle has a very low skill requirement. I took the krill you get for your level 50 quest and came up with 9 Tiny Turtles before I got the anti-fish bot "Something's amiss". The Tiny Turtle is definitely not something that is difficult to get. It is just definitely a reward for hitting 50 Fish. Yumizuno is overkill for the turtle.
I asked someone in game where they got their Demon Brick and they said "Amdapor Keep," I will verify, but there u have it, if u want a brick that moves.
I wonder if the sheep, bird, apkallu, mole and tadpole are even in-game yet. Checked so many quests and NPC and nothing.
Cactuar Cutting comes from a quest in Southern Thanalan. The quest is called "Zombies are people too" i think and the NPC is located in the south east part of the map. I saw the quest after i finished the main story but it might be avaiable earlier.
The only ones I haven't seen existing in some form in-game (markets/physically) have been
Buffalo Calf
Fledgling Apkallu
Mini Mole
Tender Lamb
Tiny Bulb
Wind-up Goblin
Bluebird & Gigantpole have existed on the markets on Excalibur since a few days into early access, but I have yet to hear a single word on them.
Tadpole is now on sale in Excalibur, 7 of them from the same retainer.
No idea where they come from though.
Maybe high-level leves or guildhests also have some minion rewards, can't believe the mole, apkallu, sheep etc. are not in-game.
Goblin is in-game, but very rare since it needs vanya silk to craft.
The quest that returns you to Forgotten Springs, afaik, opens up near the end of the story not after. Same with the quests that you take back to Quarrymill/Skull Valley.
I was devoutly questing on ACN at the time. I finished 46 story and couldn't do 49 story yet so I did the other Waking Sands quests at that time, which is when I got the cactuar quest.
Gigantpole, fishing at the burning wall
Any confirmation on the gigantpole"? What level and bait were you using ? Was it normal fishing or cloud?
Normal fishing. It's a Lv50 fish and it bites very rarely.
