Can't wait to test this, had this weird stuttering in open world, which I don't think I had in previous phases, which annoyed me.

Yeah I did too. Which is odd because I'd got a better card...

Usuauly how long it takes for AMD drivers to quit Beta and be released for real?

I like that the new drivers seems to upgrade performance but beta and all

installed on both rigs no significant boost. Tho improvement from the 13.8a the benchmark doesn't crash half way through.

both benchmarks within 500 points of each other... soo no big whoops for me

This. I didn't have any stuttering in phase three, but phrase four it was so annoying that it put me off from playing when I was tired.

These drivers made a massive difference. My framerate is now actually playable at 1920x1200 w/ maximum settings. Best patch ever. I just need to see the game in action around a large, reflective body of water. That was the only significant FPS-killer I noticed in-game... and I don't think they even have something like that in the benchmark at all.

Either way, not too shabby considering my AMD + ATI handicap to begin with. :[

Huge improvement, took me from ~5300 to ~7200 or so. I'm tempted to roll the driver back when I get home just to get a 100% certain comparison.

Another issue I encountered with this driver is that Hardware acceleration in flash is buggy. All Youtube videos in IE are green boxes with sound. Normally to fix that issue you right click and turn off hardware acceleration but the option doesn't even show up. Guess I'll have to log out of Chrome to use youtube for the time being. Hope they release stable ones soon.

In the meantime, I still need a replacement for Fraps. If anyone has any good suggestions - I'm all ears.

I didn't have any problems when I installed these drivers yesterday, but when I rebooted my machine today, I lost my monitor setup somehow...

    I usually have:

GPU1: Monitor 1 (dvi) & duplicated this desktop to TV (hdmi)
    GPU2: Monitor 2 (dvi)

When I rebooted, GPU2 now refuses to output any video.
With all 3 plugged into GPU1, I only get Monitor 1 + TV.

I ditched the TV output and now just have my dual monitors on GPU1. CrossfireX is still active but I'm not sure how to test whether or not GPU2 is making a contribution outside of watching its tempurature during a benchmark.

This dual-monitor setup has always been incredibly inconsistent every time I have to mess with anything...

Finally got around to checking out these drivers. Improved my score with a Radeon HD5870 by about 300. 'Preciate that AMD.

I saw a near 800 point increase in my laptop with 6650M... on windowed, standard laptop settings . Still pretty nice to actually break 6k in standard on this laptop (asus k53ta). Could turn up settings a little bit. Saw windows complain about driver signing during install though (forget which part it was), but haven't crashed yet.
