It's poorly optimized all around. Never uses more than 60% of my 780s (CPU never goes above 60% usage either), but FPS drops below 60 in some places. Hopefully it'll all be fixed with the DX11 patch this year.

Yah, I'm pretty excited for the DX11 upgrade.
Beta 14.3 dropped the 17th, I just noticed it. I upgraded like 5 minutes ago and have a bit of a fps increase in windowed mode, and a pretty big jump in full screen (I'm comparing to previously - there is always a jump from windowed to full screen because of the way crossfire works). 13.10 would crash me when I would be in full screen and going into/out of instances (sometimes, not always), but only using crossfire. It was pain to troubleshoot and figure out. Hoping this beta fixes that.
I'll share my set up once i'm back from work.
I use Nvidia GTX 770 with MSI Z87-G43 and my processor is intel i5-4670K (didn't overclock yet).
anyone having issues since the patch?
in mor dhona, every 30 seconds my game will go into flip book animation speed, or if i try to teleport out. and if do try to tp out to get the hell out of the place it crashes my game.
super annoying, anyone know what to do?
Ps4 and PC both having occasional stutter in Mor Dhona but UI is the worst part constantly flickering.
AMD Catalyst 14.9 came out if you didn't know.

Nothing specifically related to FFXIV, but I'm hoping it may fix the really annoying severe drop of FPS in Mor Dhona/Coerthas.
Also, has anyone who is using multiple monitors experience constant "Display Driver has stopped working" errors when playing FFXIV and loading some sort of video on another monitor?
By the way, any chance we can change the title of this thread to something more general, i.e AMD Catalyst Drivers? We've covered a few driver versions already.
i used to get that alot but the previous driver solved that problem for me since then
no more 1 fps and crashes again
Installed the drivers. Haven't really ventured into Mor Dhona or Coerthas yet, but it usually happens when a bunch of people are coming in for a hunt. Haven't experienced it yet. However, I am still experiencing the "DIsplay Drivers have been reset" when watching YouTube. I wonder if it's because I'm running in Crossfire.
I get it without crossfire.
So I completely wiped my drivers using amd's tool and driverFusion and then reinstalled. The YouTube "driver has crashed" when having multiple monitors problem seemed to have gone away. hurray!
By "amd's tool" do you mean the AMD Catalyst Install Manager?
Think he mean the new AMD gaming evolved
man i uninstalled and re-installed my drivers, it seemed to work but now this youtube/vine crashing shit has started up again. any suggestions?
