All new IL70 offhand tools and IL60 gloves/pants/shoes are craftables.
Craftable means meldable.
Looks like crafting SB is back in fashion!

Gatherers get a bonus IL60 vest as well.

Just some quick eyeballing. Sure enough all your scheelite have been bought out by now. Since capping myth is probably not worth it, it seems best to spend all myth on scheelite asap.

Only obvious soldierymat items I see are:

Raziqsap (Platinum Ingot, x9 needed; also x1 needed for dlvl reset books)
Borax (Ebony Lumber, x9 needed)

Going to also assume Smoked Bacon and Roasted Coffee Beans are also solmats.

Ebony Log and Platinum Ore come from the new unspoiled in Mid La Noscea and S Thanalan respectively. 3x Ore = Ingot, 2x Log = Lumber.

There are some other things that aren't obviously from another recipe or another listed source:

Allagan Wootz Nugget (Wootz Ingot)
Wootz Ore (Wootz Ingot)

Allagan Silk (Arachne Velveteen)
Arachne Web (Arachne Velveteen)

Allagan Leather (Kirimu Leather)
Dubbin (Kirimu Leather)

Can assume that Allagan is from first coil desynth, the other is a soldierymat?

Ehcatl Sealant x6 for Artisan/Forager offhands, x3 for other slots. (or in other words 48 and 24 knots).
Xelphatol Spring Water x1 for dlvl reset books and Bacon Broth. (8 knots)

Some of the new i110 crafted stuff is using gems (emerald topaz iolite etc) that didn't previously have a use aside from the i90 accessories.

So you need 108 days of oaknots (648 knots) to get all of the Forager/Artisan offhands, the Artisan feet/hand/leg, and the Forager feet/hand/leg/body.

The grind is real.

Or rather, for just new Artisan gear (no offhand) you'll need 72 knots, new Forager is 108 knots, the rest of it is all on offhands.

I'll probably end up getting the crafting gears first to boost my chances at HQ tools, unless the new tools are only like 1-2 star level crafts which are easy to HQ. Or if its sellable, sell a tool for like 30mil yeaaahhh

haha yeah, I was going to grab my massive stock of tomatoes I put on ah that never sold , but all sold today for several mil (decently high price mind you each!)

of course that new i60 craftable gear could be master materia also...

I don't see why you wouldn't expect i90 mats to come from i90 gear.

Wouldn't hold my breath on MC materia, it and Fieldcraft have been DoH/DoL only.

I would suggest using hunt seals for buying myth gear to desynth. It uses remarkably few hunt seals, and your myth will likely be more valuable if spent on myth ingredients.

BTW, fucking 45 Borax needed for the 5 Ebony Lumber that makes Armoire furniture. Hope it isn't absurdly expensive soldiery-wise.

So now that it seems you have to use Ixal mats for lots of stuff in 2.4, I'm starting the Ixal quests.

Is there a macro you can use to quickly equip the Ixal gloves? /equip doesn't seem to be a valid command, and I don't want to burn a gearset for a one item swap.

I just make one DoH gearset with them on (usually CRP but shuffling around for midlevel Luminary progress). Doesn't seem to be any equip macro, and unfortunately dragging gloves onto a hotbar won't switch to them when you click (pls add SE).

Why even let you set gear to the hotbar if clicking it doesn't equip it?

Really hoping Ehcatl sealants can be traded. If they aren't then I'm screwed because I never bothered with the most recent beast tribe quests. Didn't feel like wasting 30min. a day for a mount and minion. Now SE wants to make crafters depend on dailies too.
