Capping soldiery last night and baby opo opo dropped for me
Random praise to all the random people and FCmates who've (usually) calmly and politely dealt with my dumbass, nub mistakes over the past few weeks. Research helps, but there's no substitute for first-hand experience when one steps into lvl50 hard modes and endgame stuffs for the first time. I joke about making an apology macro as WHM since my deaths and mistakes cause wipes, but god damn does it feel good when I (more or less) play well and a run goes smoothly. It's getting easier with time, experience, and better gear.
Random complaint: fuck SE and fuck Steam for releasing FFXIV on Steam (even though we all knew it would happen eventually). Also, fuck my willpower for succumbing to another MMO after FFXI. At least it's playable on a casual basis ...
I've been enjoying coil for the first time thanks to DF and have gotten some nice upgrades, saving myth for my animus weapon. Recently worked up the courage to try turn 4 on monk and although it has been smooth in the few times I've tried it, I'm still confused on some specifics. Should I still try to break the stoneskin on the soldiers or just burn down the knights? When is an appropriate time to lb? And for brd, are there any songs that should be up at certain times?
There's about a billion okay ways to do it, but I LB the last Rook as it comes out (hit it once or twice, first), and you should definitely kill knights before soldiers as physical DPS. Magical DPS gets reflected on pretty hard if they attack knights (assuming I'm not mixing up the names again for some reason).
Bard songs are a shit is situational kind of deal, but if your group is heavy on BLM or SMN, using Foe's for the AoE phases gives the best bang for the buck. I haven't really bothered to play anything else if it feels "smooth."
In our static I always cast Ballad right after that first dread dies, when the spiders and rooks drop, and drop it right after all that shit dies. I guess it's kind of dependent on the team obviously. We found doing that allowed me to get foe up later and not have to worry about healer MP at all for the rest of fight. The soilder/knight thing is also a bit dependent on the strat and party make up. If only one caster I would help with soldiers. Knights are your main target though, but you can help drop a soilder in no time when it "opens"
Regal Letter Box plays music if you have mail
Finally farming all week I got all drops form 1-5! :D (minus tank body but that's a mrd dps piece to me so meh)
Got two mirrors on back to back Levi runs with my static. LOL
you son of a bitch
Doing coil t1 with my friend (who is also on tank) and a few of the groups are just terrible

So... Why did you do that?
Because they kept wiping us multiple times on ADS, snakes, and kept fucking up my sac pulls (to save time/cooldowns). Not to mention giving me attitude even though I explained how it all worked before
IDC what happened that shit is just wrong. Really, there is no way you can spin that and make it look good for you.
Shits that bad, you just leave. You don't keep going on in hopes to screw everyone over
