No surprise that a bunch of randoms thrown together at a convention wouldn't be able to do it. I've been joining a lot of "farms" lately where people still can't do it. In hours upon hours of attempts yesterday we wiped more times than we killed it. I'd normally leave, but groups for it are rare and hard to put together so I just deal with it. Got my pants at least, so there's that.

Me neither, especially if you concider that apparently some of them've never seen the fight before. I was more amused by ppls behavior and how their "bff attitude" changed into yelling as soon as things went downhill.

Assuming it's the same as fanfest rules, you got 2 minutes and they would go in and return UI/keybinds to default after every run.

For Odin they had more than enough (usually like 5-7), but I didn't actually see ppl change that much. No macros, no hotkey configurations or shortcuts, cause most of them were clicking on everything. For Shiva they had preset bars of main combos / skills that you usually use in specific order.

Collect Ironworks gear! Besides the NIN/BRD mask and the tank hat, most of it looks rather decent and sensible; i.e. no bikini mails.

If I ever lead a FC/group for activities, I would solely use ironworks gear to "represent" ourselves, like a uniform... if the game ever becomes that "open" of course lol

Yeah I130 POE weapons for new jobs would be best way imo, don't wanna go back to farm T13 for new weapons that will last like 5lvs

Soldiery gear isn't desynthable yet tho; I think they're worried about people taking upgrade items from people who 'need' them to upgrade gear and break it.

What I'm saying is that betting on Poetics being desynthable isn't a sound strategy imo

the reason it's not is because soldiery is super easy to farm. anything that can be acquired by the uncapped currency won't be desynthable if they were smart about it.

i would bet Ironworks will be but whether you have the inventory space to hoard it till 3.1 or 3.2 is the question people have to ask themselves.

yes, High Allagan, Weathered and Unweathered would probably all be desynthable in 3.0, with new 120 skill cap.

i'm not going as far as 3.5 on Ironworks because 3.0 will have two new sets of Tomes.

I have roughly 60 odd pieces ready to desynth due to a spamming soldiery stuff. My retainers will cry if they aren't desynthable come 3.0
