Is there a distance accuracy difference then? I never knew about positional accuracy.

I get the feeling there probably isn't any directional bonus/penalty for magic, 432 (or whatever it is for BLM) is a far cry from the requirements for melee DPS to just be a directional thing I think.
Casters will frequently enough be on the mobs flank and DRG/MNK certainly spend enough time at the rear that I don't think the disparity would be so extreme if they worked the same.
That would explain why I still occasionally miss on T4-5 as PLD when I have exactly the "melee" required accuracy. Was probably tested from flank/back.
I don't miss with 482 in Turn 5. What are you sitting at?
