anyone know how to activate the quest and or requirements for it, i found the NPC used to give the quest in v1.0 but i got no quest from it

I have 3/9 hamlet seals that now sells for 100 Allagan Tomestone Of Philosophy each. I saw that NPC Auriana sells "Radz-at-Han Quenching Oil" for 900 tomestones, idk if this item is need for relic or not. I wanted to get a darklight body for smn but ill wait for more info about relics.

I'm like 85% sure I turned in my 100 darksteel amaljoks in 1.0 and they were sitting in my retainer the first day I logged in, guess I wasnt that far into the quests but av/cc items out of the way and meld turned in

It's literally the same text for job quest, so that doesn't explain it. Probably unlocked after doing main scenario and hard modes after.

The first things that come to mind (if I remember correctly): you don't need properties of the beastmen, you don't need hamlet seals and from what we've seen from some Producer's Letter, you probably need to complete hard versions of dungeons.

They said something about trading them back for seals, but I didn't see info on how to do that yet.

It's the same as trading dungeon gear for seals. At least it was during Beta 3. I haven't bothered to do it yet because it'd overflow my seals

Relic Reborn for ARR requirements:

Have Ampdora (spelling) access.
Have L50 job quest complete
Initiate Quest inside the Walking Sands

2 of these require Main Scenario quest to be beaten, and the dungeon requires AV to be completed.

Does the game let you overflow on seal trade-ins? I noticed they were kind enough to not allow it for the allagan stones.

5. Grab broken relic in a beastmen stronghold
6. Double III Class Weapon meld (for WHM -> madman's whispering rod + 2 Quicktongue III)
7. Alumina Salts from Chimera in Cutters Cry
8. Amdapor Glyph from Amdapor Keep
9. Slay 24 mobs in a certain beastman dungeon
10. Slay Hydra @ Halatali
11. White-hot ember from Ifrit Hard
12. Howling Gale from Garuda Hard
13.Hyperfused Ore from Titan Hard

Maybe theres more after that,but I highly doubt it.

Extreme versions will be added in a later patch (2.1) but apparently have been done away with for the Relic Quests.
