At the following time, in order to add new content to Worlds, enhance instance Worlds, further enhance Duty Finder performance, and to address several confirmed issues, we will be performing maintenance on all Worlds.

During this period, FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will be unavailable.

1) my lag might be fixed ( doubful)

2) remember last time mythology stones got reset after maint so make sure to cap your 300 before

Seriously doubt that but maybe I'll be surprised, my guess is this will be some more maintenance to make the game playable.

Not 2.1. They're releasing smaller patches inbetween bigger ones so new content could simply be the Lightning FATEs or just another way to say they're adding countermeasures for the issues showing up.

If this is the new standard Maintenence time for FFXIV updates / patches i will be extremely happy. After getting shafted up the rectum for years with SE and FFXI / FFXIV 1.0 the GMT community can rejoice that our prime playing time is no longer being used to patch this shit!

Must spam AK now to get that reset goodness wont have to wait another whole week for Reli+1

Granted i get Titan down this week....

Yeah I'm loving it too. But it's shafting the NAs. Surely the best time to do maintenance on the NA/EU servers would be like now or a few hours ago. IE when NAs are sleeping and EUs at work.

I wish I could find the time to cap my AK stones before Wednesday night.

reset at 11AM EST iirc

Also I'm pretty sure did is Server issue related again and that new content will be around nov-dec for patch 2.1

Was it ever actually confirmed anywhere that the reset happens on Monday at 0:00 JST or was that just someone guessing? I was thinking maybe it would happen one week from last reset (which happened with the last huge maintenance last Monday night, I think?).

You mean Tuesday at 00:00 JST. They're 13 hours ahead, not 11 behind.

Tuesday, right. Tuesday midnight seems kinda random. Maybe it's one week from the moment you get your first tomestone, and everyone has their own counter? Would sort of explain why some people were getting reset at seemingly random times when others weren't.

They at least need to auto-ban on fast repeated shouts, or at least put some gigantic cooldown on being able to shout if you do it too many times in a certain interval. One was literally repeating a shout every 5-6 seconds in Ul'dah.

TBH, I haven't had a single issue since their server re-org maint last week.

They're gonna lower repair cost and DM price with this maintenance, among other things.
