So far I'm really enjoying how they handle everything (love drama). Nothing is feeling like forced writing. Ryan and Espo are always fun to watch.
Enjoyed the fun 3rd episode of 2Cool4School. "Here, have Mario Lopez verify me" haha that had me rolling.
Not sure if I like Pi yet. He's like kinda cool but kinda a douche in a cool kind of way.
This episode was missing Brad Pitt.
See you in twenty years.
God damnit Morgan...
Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way, but...
The relationship drama between Alexis and Rick was getting more ridiculous as the seasons passed, but it was always resolved quickly enough that I could ignore it. What they're doing between the two recently is probably the worst drama I've had to sit through in this show. The way Alexis is acting is nearly unbearable. She runs off to a foreign country and brings a guy back, who then spends weeks crashing on her father's couch and, from what we were shown, being a terrible guest. Instead of tossing the guy out (because then Alexis would just want him more because her father disapproves!), he lets the guy invade his personal space and the only thing everyone else has to deal with is the occasional quip about Pi. But we're not done! She then has the gall to moan and groan because Rick hasn't caved and given her everything she wants? Jesus. Hopefully this arc ends with Rick realizing that his daughter isn't always right, isn't "the smartest one in the family", and has just as many flaws as other people do and not "Rick was wrong and he learned to accept Pi for Alexis' sake". Maybe a "you do want you want, but I don't have to like it." Showed his true colors? What, but making a snide remark about a guy's profession (bee counting!) and making is clear that he doesn't think Pi is good enough for his daughter? Welcome to having a father, Alexis.
And I think the guy who plays Pi is incredible.
Aside from that annoying nonsense, the interaction between Castle, Becket, Ryan, and Espo is still great. I like the big episodes (even if it is always crazy-Castle theory, Becket saying there's no evidence, then Castle-theory being correct), but I hope that some of the future episodes are smaller cases with more focus on the characters than the events. It seems like the suspects get very little focus in those episodes, since most of the time is spent being grand. Morgan from the future killed it and I thought Castle being able to use a sword (instead of getting stabbed a few times) was a nice touch (given that any time, Castle can either be able to fight or completely unable to fight, depending on what is more convenient).
My major issue with the last 3 episode is that the plot has literally been taken right out of a movie, then they make a reference to that movie as an attempt to make the lazy writing ok.
I greatly prefer pointless drama between Alexis and Castle than pointless drama between Beckett and Castle. But I agree. They aren't really portraying the whole father/daughter relationship realistically this season. So far I think the episode with Morgan has been my favorite one so far. Don't know why lol.
because it had morgan
Oh man, I am so hype for moreSpoiler: show
The end to that episode was creepy as fuck.
The incoming 3XK sotry line is really great, I'm pretty excited about it. Plus when you combine with the Plastic Surgeon, it could be anyone. For instance, it would be great if 3XK was the captain.
Sex change + Skin Dye?!?!?!
I'm hoping the surgeon "girlfriend" is 3XK's sister or something odd.
Isn't the Beckett's mom story line still floating around out there? I feel like they going to let that hang forever, until the series end.
Which I wouldn't mind, that story line was getting really old really fast in season 3-ish.
That story pretty much finished with Helo and Noah Bennet.
Spoiler: show
Castle and ninjas. That's all.
