nah he's a little too nice, I think he's the devil.
or like the chief in Grimm?
Show got renewed for a second season. 13 episodes. I am pleased.

good news!
Well that's good to hear, I've enjoyed the show so far. They've done a fairly good job with the atmosphere and overall feel which helps quite a bit. I'm trying to get my wife to watch it with me, but she's busy with school and stuff and hasn't found the time yet.
I'm glad that the enemies each week at least have some character development/plot development side effects for the main characters and are not self contained Mo.t.W. (so far) a la Supernatural
my favorite part of reading Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time was actually the bad guys, and gaining a glimpse of the "other side" and their powers and plans and inner workings. That's far preferable to X monster with Y and Z ingredients needed to kill it
I don't know what it is, but something about the main character makes me disinterested in her. I'd rather follow Ichabod Crane solo
Fun show though
I keep breaking my own 4th wall and continually expect someone to say, "... the Ichabod Crane?" everytime he is introduced
Rofl, I laughed when it was said in the first episode how everything would be a "7 year trial". So I would expect this show to last 7 seasons, unless it keeps on being barf.
The acting and line-delivery gets better every week(it started above-mediocre anyways). The pacing of the show is also perfect, never feels chopped-up, hard to follow, or rushed. The writers and the producers are definitely debunking any notions of relying on high production values and visuals while using some banal paranormal script.
A show that has an African-American lead who delivers convincing lines without using typical female fanfare in a sci-fi series? Impossible.
Crane talking to OnStar was the best.
This weeks episode was great. I feel like they are def trying to move away from the "monster-of-the-week" formula and the universe is being fleshed out while presenting more mysteries. To be quite honest, I like her sister better than Abby. But, at the same time, I understand why Abby is the way she is all "by the book" and stuffs.
Also, Crane talking to the OnStar lady was delightful.
It's been the one of the more creative ways to handle a recap.
My mom fucking lost it when they revealed it.
OnStar thing was one of the funniest things I've seen
The Horseman of Pestilence was dope, did not expect to see a fuckin Samurai riding a horse. Also, looking forward to the continuation of this:
3 week break ; ; whhyyyy
I'm more of a Van Helsing type of guy (blow monsters with rocket launchers) but can't say I dislike the peaceful approach of this show.
I gotta give the show props for not overdoing the man-out-of-time jokes. Just a few touches in each show and they're perfect.
I loved his reaction to the luffa.
And FUCK YEA John Noble next episode!!!
