Some of you may be familiar with some of my previous work, a basic demo of Final Fantasy XI built in the Unreal Engine.
Once I finally got my hands on my Rift dev kit, I went about putting together a quick demo with some of the assets I had pulled for Soldier. I am pleased to present to you a recreation of Cape Riverne in the Unreal Engine, complete with a massive Bahamut!

The demo is in third person, and is compatible with Mouse/Keyboard and Xbox gamepad controls. If you're lucky enough to have a Rift right now, you can download it on my website:

There isn't much to do except wander around and stare at an ominous Bahamut. As the one thing you *can* do, I recommend hopping off any side of the island... as plummeting through endless sky is rather surreal in the Oculus.
