Original intent: to let me drop Shadow Flare or Soil down there if needed. Never bothered to change it. I would be a lot happier with 20 half-size hotbars instead of the 10 we have now.

I put all of my jobs on bar 10, and all of my crafts on bar 2. Then I hide them, and access them via the bar scroll up/down button on the main bar. It keeps a fuckload of clutter off screen while still giving easy access.

Only thing I'd say is I don't get people putting job change icons on permanent display. You NEVER need those in a rush.

I'd kill myself if I had to press 1 button and 3 clicks every single time I wanted to switch between crafting classes. I also turned off scrolling the main bar because any time it ever changed was a time I didn't want it to change.

And I could never remember how to change it, so if I accidentally changed it mid fight I was basically screwed. The keybinds have since been cleared after I got eaten by Rafflesia.

... you probably just go in the keybinds and remove Shift+Up and Shift+Down (or whatever yours is currently set to).

Now, if you can remove the up/down on-screen arrows from being clicked, that'd be news to me.

Uh...

Charconfig > Hotbar Settings > Display > uncheck "Enable hotbar cycling button"

I just uncheck all of those except "Hide unassigned slots".
