I promptly told them to go kill themselves after we wiped to the first boss because they let the adds that usually die in like 5 fucking seconds run rampant and kill everybody, on top of nobody hitting a banana tree (which in my experience has never been my fucking job, because I've never even needed to do it more than once).

I've seen a few groups expect the tank to handle the bananas, and having done it as DPS, heals, and tank, I think that does actually work best -- if you can drag the boss to a tree before he starts chest-pounding, he'll actually eat a dropped banana even if the other mobs are still alive, just by beating them to it.

I still tend to just say I'll handle it, regardless of what role I'm playing, both to avoid herpaderps and for the Takeiness of the statement.

Obviously, this doesn't excuse the dismal damage (did they not have their Relics?) nor inability to improvise nor rudeness of communication.

Proceed to continue dps on gorilla.
If the chimps somehow get to that tree then you can start yelling at people.

I actually forgot to mention that I did pull the gorilla to the tree and spawned the first banana, which for 90% of groups doing that dungeon is enough. It was the second set of adds/chest thumping where we died. The SMN also popped a banana during the first set which gave me the indication that he was going to take care of it if we even made it to the second set.

That is so rude. I shouted for a 3 star crp the other day to make a harpsichord. I had the clusters, the mats and a hundred k tip ready to go. I also offered to meet them. The player is doing you a favour. If you could do it, or afford it - you'd have it already. I'm scraping towards 3 star WVR, I know how much of a PITA it all is.
