Newest Ippo episode can be summed up pretty easily:

"Jesus" and "Oh my god".

I couldn't help but lol when those were said. But the fight is seriously bad ass. Really well done

The Rising OST is out by the way so check your usual spots. Really good soundtrack, was hoping the missing track from New Challenger would be on there but no luck.

Seriously this. Great finish to the flashback, fantastic animation and genuinely left me wanting more despite the fact that I know a bunch of terrible fights are on the way for Ippo lol. Also got me really hyped for the current fight happening in the manga

Just finished this. Post-war arc was better than pretty much the rest of the series. It was so good. What are the chances of more Ippo coming in the future?

I'm sure they'll do more, but I wouldn't expect anything for a few more years. For what ever reason this series just doesn't get extended anime runs.

They could do another 100 episodes probably and still not get caught up with the manga. There's alot of stuff they've cut out from the manga when they did New Challenger + Rising(like Takamura's victory tour around Japan when he beat Hawk, and Aoki having to sell mini-statues after breaking the large one for awhile) that they can use to pad the episodes with. I'm not sure how popular Ippo is in Japan though, that may be a reason. I'm at least happy that we are getting something every few years. We got both of Takamura's big fights animated and Aoki's title fight animated. There are a few more fights I'd like to see, but Ippo vs Woli and Miyata vs RBJ are terrible
