You could get extra Gem Boxes from the Brachiosaurs.

Actually nvm that was the economizer. There was only one Gem Box in the game.

Edgar was fun start of game, but i found him weak near the end

He just walks up to packs of mobs with auto crossbow and ends them. Guy is like a fucking army all by his own.
:< I mean, at least where I'm at he's 1-shotting everything with auto-crossbow. On bosses he's still relevant with his single targets. When I had to split the party I honestly shoulda just let him carry the team by himself. He -is- my team. I guess if he falls off I will just nod and be like 'well he's still staying with the end party for being MVP of nearly the entire game.' I'm going to respect his contribution.

Sabin's magic is off the hizz-zay. His blitzes are great too. He's my mage-monk.

Celes is so beefy, much tank. And she hits pretty hard too.

Locke is a thief and honestly that's all I care about. I love stealing. I imagine I just need to make sure his damage stays relevant.

Damn it you people are making me want to play FF6 again. Sadly all I have is the abomination known as the PS1 version for my Vita/PS3. Even when there is virtually no load time it still feels beyond slow.

Locke with genji and offering is pretty beastly. But then again, everyone is a beast with that setup lol.

I believe you can get multiple genji gloves and offerings (iirc master scroll on gba?) In the GBA version.

If you don't wait for Shadow on the Floating Continent he dies and you don't get him in the WoR. This is well known. However, if you goto the cave where you are suppose to get Shadow in the WoR, Relm reads all his lines and it makes like 0 sense. I remember being like WTF during it.

I've been a pretty big fan of SE's iOS ports, but that change in particular - the battle UI - is why I can't get into this version. I wish they'd have stuck with FFV iOS's UI. It's way less clunky for me, personally.

The album has 3 other FF songs (Prelude, Main Theme and Eyes on Me)

It's a nice rendition, and interesting to see lyrics added. Searching For Friends is maybe my favorite track from 6, and easily top 3 (Memoro de la Stona and People Of The North - Piano) from the series as a whole. There was just something about the original though that conveys near complete hoplessness with that 1% chance of success as you recover the airship that distinguished the track from the others. Oddly enough, this is just too happy imho.
