One of my character crashed and I had to update 5 files to log back in, and I am now getting POL-1155 error code saying R:FFXI.dll
Mean while my other character is still logged in fine. Any idea how to fix this?

Are there any .TMP or .TMP2 files floating around in any of your FFXI directories?

The solution to the problem mentioned in that article is to remove the .TMP and/or .TMP2 extensions. If this says there will be a conflict with another like-named file, rename that one, and then do it.

Log all characters out first

Close all open FFXI windows, perform update, login.

Thank you all, Deleting .tmp(2) files and Logging out all characters worked.
