I would just fill the rest out with acc (19, becomes 28 on top of weapon's base 9). Our group's SCH did his Novus pretty much exactly like that. It's not entirely about how much you "need" or would make it worthwhile especially when you're already up to 3rd tier capped on crit/det and concerned mildly about cost. Lets you free up another 1-2 slots (depending) on acc builds for i110 piece instead of i90.

That seems to work. Makes me only require one ACC melded piece instead of two. A mil spent in materia, can redo it at a later date whenever I accrue 75 more alex.

I did max accuracy first just so I have an accuracy-weapon option, then 20 each of crit/det just cause I didn't want to neglect either. That was pretty cheap XD. Even with 44 acc on the weapon and full 110 and food, you end up 10ish short of the spell acc cap, so it requires 1 other melded item to hit cap if you want that.

So, yeah, what Seravi said beyond that.

I did maximum accuracy and 20/20 Crit/DET. For nukes, DET is supposedly better point-for-point, but crit helps heals, so I kept a bit of that. The accuracy will return MND as well VIT by skipping iLV90 crafted pieces.

Nope. Like Bio/Bio II it doesn't miss. I did 40 Crit, 23 Det and 12 acc on my Novus and I'm glad I put some acc in there, it really helps.

Back in 2.3, I did some tests, and then made some reasonable assumptions, and reached the conclusion that crit is really more valuable than det for a SCH (for healing). So, I think this is a slightly better i130 set:

To be honest, I didn't even see which pieces I chose. I simply ran the solver with my weights, to see if it matched your set, and since it didn't, and looked slightly better, I posted it.

I agree, though, DET+PIE is nice. Still, you know... in the end we'll all be equipping whatever we get that puts us closer to i130 (while fulfilling the acc requirements if applicable).

MP starvation in T10 as a SMN is a bitch.

I've been forced to forfeit Shadow Flare and use all of my aetherflow stacks for Energy Drain for huge portions of the fight, and my DPS is taking a huge hit because of this. I feel bad for asking the bard to ballad just for myself since he has to sing paeon for himself, the monk and the two tanks while the healers are always sitting at a comfortable reserve of MP. The other party member is a blm which lolballad.

I don't get it. It was a problem in T8 as well but it was nowhere near this bad.

What's a good way to get my Eos to be more responsive when it comes to its CD's? I'm switching to SCH main so now I actually care about making sure they go off. When I play SMN I'm okay with spamming the hell out of Contagion, but on SCH it's a bit more troublesome for me to spam these CD's for precise timings. I think I've read something about using a macro that does:

"Stay"
"Eos CD here"

Is there a more effective way? I was healing T12 last night and sometimes my weird Fey Illumination+Whispering Dawn macro wasn't working as I would've wanted it to.

I'm curious how other SCHs are prioritizing their Poetics spend. I'm thinking the body piece first cuz the final coil version drops later. What do you all think?

Yes, Det and Crit stats also effect it.

Note: This is only your stats before food/potions.

Can anyone share how they have their abilities located on their hotbars? SCH especially with the juggling of damage and healing, needing to access both quickly.
