There's slightly less animation in that opening than season 1, there's seriously no need to pregame the complaints.

The changes to the facial structures/quality of ~1/4 of the characters makes me sad, they just don't look is good. It's like their moe was sucked out of them. I'm reserving my decision on the animation until after v6 is finished if possible.

This is still the better MMO anime, and I will be watching until it gets as bad as SAO.

It'll never get to SAO as there's a fundamental difference in the characters acceptance of the setting. I think Only Sense Online would probably make a good (better?) mmo anime. It still needs time to grow though, not enough source material yet.

edit: I just now realized the flipping girl is Kanami. Fuck Deen, abandon ship. They've ruined her.

There's not many action scenes yet, but already the animation quality is considerably lower. Still, the story is interesting enough to keep me.

Remains to be seen where they splurge the majority of their animation budget. Between volume 6 and 7, there's a lot of combat. Either we're going to have some great looking fights, or we're all going to end up screaming DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN.

I really hope they do blow the budget on fight scenes, cause otherwise it's still watchable if you don't look too closely (or if you're lucky enough to not be able to tell the difference). I really hope this isn't an accurate prediction lol
