i don't have # of mobs killed so take this as just anecdotal evidence, but the zoning strat worked great. in about 2 hours i was able to get 26 kindred, 19 high kindred, and 13 sacred crests in woh gates on blu with th trait + sash and a thf present for maybe a 1/3 of the kills. roughly a 2:1.5:1 distribution. next time i'll kill mobs on both sides of a zone border and see how it goes.

did kindred spirits on normal (first attempt) and it was extremely easy, does the pool give the same # of page drops as the personal loot? or can it vary?

In light of Matsui's comment about SKC drop rates, more data, this time from Woh Gates (still zoning after every seal)

Worms and Rabbits (lv 110-112) (moon phase in the 40s)

96 mobs to get 9 SKC (last 22 mobs didn't yield a SKC)

Overall crest drop rate: 39/118 = .3305 (.2466, .4231)
Sacred Kindred's crest: 9/118 = .0763 (.0354, .1399)

22 Kindred's crests
8 High Kindred's crests
9 Sacred Kindred's crests

According to Matsui, drop rate is higher in Kamihr and Woh vs other areas. If the drop rate is supposed to be higher in Woh Gates it's hard to tell. But I don't have a lot of data.

Crest distribution may be asymmetrical after all (based on other people's farming, not mine)

So much talk about seals but nothing about af! Any testing if the armor enhancement traits are...well, enhanced at the new levels?

That would be because you need the crests to get the armor upgrades, and without the armor upgrades, there are no tests

The projected drop rates the devs mentionned is probably based on not zoning, as well as you needing a greater sample size id say.

I interpreted as that mobs in those zones don't drop them with greater frequency because of the zone but the mobs i that zone drop them more frequently because the mobs in that zone are higher levels. The wording is tricky but it seems like they meant you're more likely to see SKSs drop in those zones since the mobs are higher level and higher level=better drop rate. There are lvl 109-110 mobs in Marjami and Yorcia too the ones on Woh/Kamhir are what like 110-111?

Firth umbrils are level 106.

Serac Rabbits and Metalcruncher Worms are level 110-112.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's like 1% increase in the overall crest drop rate per mob level, not specifically for sacred Kindred's crests.

Is it really worth the time if you're getting a seal every 3 minutes? This was in Ceizak

Wakido Kabuto: Doesn't augment meditate any further than Myochin. Don't care about Warding Circle.
Wakido Kote: Doesn't augmented riceballs any further, don't know how to test hasso so I'll assume it's probably the same as Unkai Haidate +2.

Incidental note: They're also dropping in Rala Skirmishes (seals, that is). Not a huge drop rate, but we're seeing a few each run.

Should test if it stacks with that though.
For the rest of your post... bit too early to say, but it sounds like they didn't buff up the JS enhancements, which is pretty disappointing if proved true.

Altough there's gonna be 119 version of those AFs so we can still hope for that.

By no means did I do real testing but while farming seals in new zones could def tell a difference in Ochain Block rate.

Wakido Domaru testing:

gives double tp occasionally (either 8 or 10 from normal hit, i'd assume 20 from spells)

6 procs in 58 hits to get to 300 tp, probably ~10% proc rate.

So for bard, this is how I'm seeing the feet being used: Normal songs, use AF3+2 for stat bonus, but when using Macrato / SV, use AF for extra duration (or use AF for extra duration at all times if you're a lazy fuck)

Is this theory flawed?

That would mean a +-1 stat, is it really that worth considering how much it matters in % compared to our current overall power, thanks to the new gear?
The convenience of having songs last longer probably outbalances a single +1 stat?

What else are you gonna cast buffs in if the stat bonuses are meh now? If im not mistaken, dont all songs more or less auto-cap potency just from base 99 skill? Im on my phone so i cant double check this.
