Went in N BRF on my alt lock, and completely roflstomp the meter, doing 70k on thogar. I cant even dream doing that on my main.

I'm thinking about coming back, but I don't plan to do what I did last time with 8 90s, just going to play my warrior hes 100 like 636 or something when I stopped after expac. I quit mostly because I was on a PST server, I'm EST and my work sched changed so I cant really raid with any guilds there. Anyone on an EST server that is semi-casual like 1-2 days a wweek or maybe 3 raiding need a prot/fury warr? Thanks guys and gals!

Why so? I am flexible in what I can play that's just my only 100 currently. I still have 90 DK/Pally/Huntard/Monk/Mage/Rogue which I could easily level if Warrior is that bad. I'm just looking to have some fun, most guilds need tanks, I've tanked since Vanilla on Warr/DK off and on.

Warrior dps is pretty much at the bottom right now, it gets better but only at very very end mythic gear. Warrior tank is not that good either, especially compared to monk tank

Hunter/Mage is great, top DPS just about every fight.
Prot/Ret pally also great
Monk tank OP, DPS monk ok.
Unholy DK is great, Blood DK ok.
Rogue is ok.

My guild could use a rogue on thur 830 est - 11 est and fri 830 to 12 est. Mage is iffy the others we have token heavy on atm. You'd have to pvp etc your ilvl up to 660+ at least since we are progressing on heroic currently 8/10. Alliance. We run normal brf for alts on tue/wed alternating 830 to 11

This is pretty bad information.

First off, Warrior dps is getting benched in mythics yes, but not prot warrior lol.

And rogues are far more than ok.

Hunter mage lock and boomkin are instant invites to most guilds right now, so I do agree with you on hunter/mage being great.

Well the good news from all of this is I already have my leather heirlooms so I can level monk or rogue to 100 pretty fast. Monk seems pretty strong on the tank side, is rogue actually a viable dps? It was shit imo the past few xpacs i mean you could make it work but it wasn't fun.

they perform well on all of the BRF fights, providing the rogue switch specs for single target/cleave/multitarget.

The only reason Warrior is even a little looked down upon right now is mostly due to the Blackhand encounter, and only on Mythic. That fight just stinks for all melee though, other than Rogues.

Except many top 10 world kills in mythic BRF use warrior tanks... Highmaul too.

Monk tanks may be broken right now but you are exaggerating when it comes to other classes, especially when it comes to the type of advice and content level this poster is looking for

nicholai if you enjoy the playstyle of fury/prot warrior then stick to it, you will always be able to find a place to raid. If you don't enjoy it then for sure try something else, not too many specs are in such shape that you'll end up with nothing. Some are in a great place as mentioned by previous posters and some will get you nearly instant invites. But you'll always be able to find something.

Man, I resubbed for warlords and started playing fairly often. I was really getting into it, but then lfr hit and then it kinda stopped being enjoyable. The whole "lf <x> for <raid> link achv" thing happened where you had to have the achv but couldn't get it unless you had it etc. I guess that's the downside to not having friends to play with or a guild. Kinda bummed out that I lost interest, it seemed like a pretty neat expac.
