There are some people who are just absolutely hopeless when it comes to some of these new dungeons, had a tank that wouldn't turn the yeti to snowball spriggans, dps that would kill spriggans, and idk how we managed to get past that but it was a nightmare, probably close to 40 minutes on that one boss . Healer life is rough

Yes. It's not about the fact there are forced lesbian interactions between female PCs and NPCs in the story. It's more the way female NPCs in the game are treated. They're prostitutes, almost completely naked dancers, nameless rape victims, and the only women in any kind of authority positions are completely useless. Nanamo has no authority whatsoever, Kan E Senna refuses to do anything for fear of upsetting the forest, for all her blustering the admiral never leaves her office, and Minfilia... Don't even get me started on that milquetoast. She's supposed to lead you, but she can't make a single decision without your help. I doubt she even clothes herself.

I understand we're supposed to be the heroes, but every major male NPC has had some kind of useful role in our story so far; even some minor male NPCs have been useful. With the addition of Yugiri and a certain ROG story line NPC SE has been slightly better at female representation in-game, but it still leaves much to be desired.

Well, hopefully they were able to allocate more of their budget to cutscenes like they did with the T12 (and possibly T13?) one. I definitely want more of that!

If there was one thing 1.0 did right, it was the cutscenes.

Well, other than Merlwyb shouting "TRAITOR" with the energy of a shopping list.

One thing that always annoyed me about Japanese cutscenes (might mostly be a Square thing) was the fact that you never actually see weapons make contact. It's like even the character models have stunt doubles and camera tricks.

This video is a lot better about it than 2.0, but you can still see it a bit.

And it's not like Raubahn is running around dropping bodies in CSes.

Even in the Scions, Yda is almost always punching people in the mouth, while Papalymo stands around doing sudoku.
