Mobile soundtrack? :O
Surely it's another iOS/Android game, not gonna expect anything else from SE right now.
Square Enix knows how to disappoint fans without even announcing a game. Koichi Ishii hasn't worked there since 2007.
Would've loved to see Seiken Densetsu 3 ported and officially localized, but that's just wishful thinking.
http://gematsu.com/2014/02/rise-mana...ed-smartphonesSeiken Densetsu: Rise of Mana is in development for iOS and Android, Square Enix revealed in this week’s Famitsu.
The game will be free-to-play with micro-transactions for items. The hero is an angel and devil absorbed into a single body, who fell to the ground from the heavens.
A new system will allow you to switch between angel and demon as necessary during gameplay. The game supports up to eight players in multiplayer.
The game’s base is a town called “Miste,” where you can buy items and weapons, make use of support services, and train your demon pet. Your base weapons are the sword, spear, and bow.
A release date was not announced.

http://gematsu.com/2014/02/rise-mana...er-screenshotsSquare Enix has released the first trailer and screenshots for Seiken Densetsu: Rise of Mana, its newly announced Mana game for smartphones.
The 3D action RPG puts players in the body of an angel and demon who, by certain incident, come to occupy the same body. Players will adventure across various fields, battle large enemies, and progress the story to discover why these two have become one, and what to do to get back home to heaven.
Square Enix also announced it will release a Rise of Mana soundtrack featuring Kenji Ito, Hiroki Kikuta, Yoko Shomomura, and Tsuyoshi Sekito for 2,700 yen plus tax. First-print buyers will get an in-game item code for use in Rise of Mana.
Watch the trailer above. (The theme song you’ll hear is “Believe in the Spirit” by Kokia.)

Hnnnnggg! That music, that art design, THOSE FEELS! How I miss the Mana series!! Maybe I will actually get a iOS game for once. Will definitely keep an eye on this.
That looks pretty fun. I may try it out.
Isn't that crab their new company troll avatar?
On the one hand, I loved the Mana series. On the other hand... Action-RPG on a touchscreen? I've come to be let down by Mana since the 32-bit era, so I suppose my expectations are right where they should be.
This nauseates me.
I've tried multipe action-rpg's on a touchscreen and it flatout just doesn't work. I'm hoping this gets ported to a handheld because it actually looks fun.
Final Fantasy Agito x Rise of Mana
http://www.siliconera.com/2014/07/30...ing-rise-mana/Final Fantasy Agito, a smartphone game that shares the same universe and characters as Final Fantasy Type-0, will have a crossover with Rise of Mana. Players who have the mobile Mana game will be able to fight notorious enemies like the Tonberry, Cactuar, and… Moogle? Also Kurasame from Final Fantasy Type-0 can join your group as an ally.
A Final Fantasy meets Mana series crossover isn’t that strange considering the first Mana game was a Final Fantasy spinoff with a Chocobo companion. The crossover starts on July 31 and ends on August 7.
