Solo Salvage Discussion

Out of date, you can now enter all salvage and assault areas, as well as ashu talif quests, solo. This includes nyzul isle as well, though you're taking a risk of hitting a timed lamp floor with lamps so spread apart even a sprinters drink won't save you. Was a few updates ago i think.

For AR II, unlock your shit and floor up. Repeat until first Acrolith on Qutrub floor. Kill it, unlock relevant stats from mobs, floor up. Kill acroliths and floor up. Kill as many gears as you want, then floor up. Kill Chariot, kill NQ, kill as many mobs as you want for Alex and then floor up. Kill HQ. Warp out.

You don't even need to use Ramuh if you have at least the Lv.117 pet ammo. I was tearing everything in there apart using Ifrit and Flaming Crush. Obviously if you use Ifrit though, need to be buffed up just in case Fulm destroys him or you get lazy. 1~2 Dawn Mulsum are also enough to keep him alive if you prefer not to have to resummon.

I have the 115 ammo, and for the most part I'm fine. I died once, but I managed to recover. I played it safe after screwing up at the start and only did 3 of the Ramparts, but I managed to net 119 alex, so that means I met my daily quota. Never thought I would be able to make a Mythic...

Now if I could only figure out how to get the Einherjar currency I need... I'm 70k shy.

How does the salvage multiple-runs-block works?
When does it apply? When does it reset? Is it only for T2 Salvo or also for T1?

The multiple runs thing is only for the Arrapago Remnants zone to reduce crowding since it's the most popular zone. Can't do that zone more than one time in a 24 hour (JP midnight to JP midnight) period. It applies to both Arrapago Remnants I and II, or mix/match those two. The other three zones have no restriction, at least for now - I imagine others could be added if they start getting more popular.

It's not a big deal, they recently tweaked Bhaflau II to be competitive in Alex (if not better) so if you can kill the Cerb boss that's a perfectly good alternative if you want to double up. Either 1 Arrapago and 1 Bhaflau, or double Bhaflau.

Can anyone confirm one way or the other if you can make the 5th floor frog in original ZR pop solo? On the previous page someone says you can, then another person says you can't. I haven't been able to make it work. Here's the run I would like to do as solo BST, working on Marduk body for my BRD.

Floor 1-unlock chest, usually don't need extra cells, take NE porter
Floor 2- kill lizards, hope not get to get boned with no ranged drop, kill socket frog (NM1), get any cells I don't have and warp up
Floor 3- go east, kill all the mamool, kill rampart and frog (NM2), take north porter up
Floor 4- go north, kill frogs including NM (NM3), kill appropriate rampart, and warp up
Floor 5- north frog (the one that drops Enlil's Gambison) should be there, assuming I have unlocked everything, right?

I have tried this several times. I occasionally get screwed with certain cells not dropping, but I've had decent luck redoing the 4th floor (killing wrong rampart) and killing all the frogs over and over until the right stat cell drops. But in every case I make sure I'm fully unlocked before I go up, and he's never there. Yesterday even brought a friend along (duo) and we both were fully unlocked but it didn't pop. Maybe you still really need three people? Or is it my route wrong? Anyone have a proven route?

Unless SE adjusted it when they let you enter solo, it required having 3 people fully unlocked.

What's the job with the lowest bare minimum to easily solo farm salvage, and what gear is needed for farming triple gears without dying?

So are you planning to just like, enter arra, go to 5f, kill the gears, and leave? Is there some special floor that you can farm triples over and over?
