11-12 = 660xp
11-12 = 660xp
For EXP, premade nets 40~, non-premade is 30~ for winning, so like 33% more. Not sure what exactly determines it (I'm guessing it has something to do with relative PVP rank against other party) but there's fluctuation within that. I've seen different numbers in the 30s on non-premade on some occasions (actually saw 29 once also).
what are people melding on their gear with pve materia (until you can replace it with pvp materia)?
Whatever useful secondary stat the piece doesn't already have. DET/CRIT mostly. I guess for mages spell speed could be useful?
Can confirm 12-13 is 780.
Also I dunno how some people have full pvp sets already, i've played 150~ matches and only have 2 pieces.
I've done 93 and am about to buy my third piece. So I guess it just comes down to wins.
Also made a huge mistake. Was on drg, my party leader qued up and I tried to quickly buy a piece of armor before the match started. Accidentally bought the brd gear that was right below it. Such a waste ; ;
hmm.. how? I've won 110 of those 150 and only have enough for boots and body piece, did you buy cheap items or something? (I have 1k atm)
Seems when you upgrade skills you can select which bonus you want, super useful since you might just want potency buff and not CD reduction or vice versa.
This is the best news I've gotten all day... thought having delay reduction first made no sense considering most fights are so quick
As you get PVP skills the fights get longer.
also, Ilvl55 PVP gear vs team allagan

Has anyone else been having good results with tank DPS builds? Swapped most of my vit gear with str and crit and I am putting out decent numbers on Pld. Usually on par with other melee but I do have well timed stuns to get that extra damage on casters.
Yeah I run 30 str on my warrior and wear full str accessories. I am usually top dps or close to, depending on how harassed our casters are. Warriors at least can do good burst dmg and I'm almost always the last one to be targeted, so I rarely have to worry about defensive gear
Yeah, in non-objective PvP in general you should basically play a tank like a DPS with a bit of extra utility/tankiness.
In objective PvP, if they add it down the line, tanks in sturdy setups are useful for things such as carrying flags in a capture the flag type mode, but otherwise your defense isn't that useful.
For healers, which would be better? Wolf accessories that can't be melded, or ilvl 70 hq's with vit and other melds?
I prefer Wolf accessories; max hp is less important than mitigation.
How effective is +5 sleep resist? Would it be worth it to eat PVP food for it?
It seems to literally reduce the duration by 5.
I've been using HQ White Drops as food and stuns basically don't exist anymore past the first.
Wow, that's remarkably more potent than I expected
