I can't believe a storm swallowed up an entire desert holy shit. And people be just laying around like nothing happened.

The entire eastern half of the US is about to get hit with a major front. They are predicting high winds and hail in my area. I hope it's not going to be as bad as they say. I hate these early fall storms. >_<
It's fucking perfect here today. And seeing as how it's a holiday, going to give my CX-5 some TLC then come back home to watch some evening hockey.
Fuck yeah.

Got a direct hit from a tropical storm last week and a Category 3 is gonna hit on friday. Gonna buy a bunch of books tomorrow since I'm looking at 2+weeks without power as a conservative/lucky estimate.
Any suggestions?

It's snowing pretty hard here. Just drove 20 miles in it, half of that following one of the first snowplows out... and the other half following the other trailbreakers as best I could. My little Scion handled it like a champ, though.
It's a thick, wet, heavy snow. Perfect for winter activities. And very beautiful.
