They were definitely trying to come up with another scene like the meth village from Season 1.

im glad this is only 8 episodes, there's no way i could hang on through a 13 ep season or something. some of the dialogue made me laugh out loud last night, and dat aint good

I think the overall story still shows promise, it's mostly just that compared to season 1 the characters aren't particularly interesting and in general seem bad at their jobs.

i dont know about other people, but i stopped comparing it to season 1 already, it just doesn't hold up compared to anything on TV, not just rusty/marty

one thing that pisses me off is it's like the writer is one raging alcoholic who has no idea how to write about characters who aren't either.

If you dial out the personal drama bits, this season is pretty damn amazing. I felt like it really all started to fall into place with this episode.

Am I really supposed to believe that there was a guy positioned and waiting at every one of the countless potential exits from that tunnel system?

Like, seriously?

I get it, you wanted him to die for the story. But could you do any more of a terrible job writing it? The guy just rambo'd himself through 5 people with no injuries, and then you just have him get shot in the back at the last second? In like, the most unlikely way possible?

hey look at that they give vince vaughn lines that an actual human would deliver and he does a good job with them. the whole "well we just kinda found teague's pictures by accident" thing was stupid but whatever, hopefully it'll be a fun finale
