A reminder for those who haven't done done the fight in a while:

Eald'narche + Orbitals

Spells: Ancient Magic, Sleepga II, Bindga

Abilities for Orbitals:
Gaea Stream: Single target damage, one shadow
Uranos Cascade: AoE Damage, multiple shadows
Cronos Sling: Conal damage, multiple shadows
Phase Shift: Large AoE damage + stun and bind, multiple shadows. Occurs at 66%, 33% and 1%

Abilities for Eald'narche
Vortex: Mid-range AoE damage + terror and Bind, multiple shadows
Stellar Burst: AoE low damage + silence & slow, multiple shadows
Omega Javelin: Single target damage + petrify, 1 shadow

Note: This information applies to the initial fight, and does not necessarily reflect the new BCNM.

The BCNM is identical to the level 75 version. Eald'Narche second form casts AM II spells, that's the only difference I found.
Stellar Burst inflicts Slow too.

Gains access to -ja spells at <15% HP during phase 2 in VD. Might be sooner, but that's when we noticed it starting.

It's possible to tank it normally for the majority of the time during phase 2, but seemingly at random it will start warping around to people that have almost 0 hate (the BRD or COR, but still potentially the RNG or WHM) and not focus back on the PLD for a time. Our guess is if the PLD even loses hate for 1 second it could be triggered. Besides that, the fight is pretty simple. If there is a mechanic that is triggering the warping and a way around it, it would make the fight many times easier. Until then, the key to winning seems to be staying alive during the warping phases(/nin, even for mages, is highly suggested).

PLD RNG NIN WHM BRD COR, all NIN sub. NIN kills Orbitals and then DDs on final form.

Very Difficult :
Exoplates : 180,000 HP, low defenses/evasion, even my avatar was acc capped
Eald'Narche : 40,000 HP, anyone with /nin and Poison Potion can tank it.
Eald'Narche second form : 130,000 HP, high auto-regen/regain
/nin for everyone is useful.
Vortex resets the hate.
<25% : -ja spells and Astral Distortion which is an enhanced version of Stellar Burst (AoE magic damage + Silence + Slow + -50% ATK down)
Toward the end my Diabolos was doing 3 times more damage than usual, almost 3k damage per Night Terror vs 1k in the beginning. Rangers damage seemed to decrease by the end but maybe it was just the buffs wearing off.
Dropped two Vanir Battery.

Could be like bhaf cerb, one type of damage goes up as the other goes down if its not balanced properly?

Orbitals can be slept or supertanked by the PLD, but they share hate with the NM, so if you lose hate they might go wild.

maybe use blu/nin in that fight for winds of promyvian? could silena the blu, have them winds of promy attack downs and slows from other melees while the whm silenas other DD? winds of promy is erasega on a low cooldown and only 36 mp. as an added bonus lots of blu have it set anyways as part of auto refresh trait.

Why would you get an another alchemist to do it? You're over the cap so you wont be getting a better success rate and iirc no attachment recipes have HQs. Or do you not have the KI?
