I'm pretty sure these people who dropped 10 mil on perfect PDT/DA augs would rather NOT have to drop another 10 mil to get that aug back

In 3 runs, our group only saw 1 KI between 6 people.
I was the lucky one, and using a +2 stone I got 4pdt/3mdt/-4 avatar perp on hagondes pants.
Think SE wants upgrading skirmish gear to take a lot longer than it did for Skirmish II...
4/2/3 1/4/4 1/4/4
were the combinations we used. I got 3 wings over the 3 runs. Others got about the same or less so the wing drop rate looks about the same as Yorcia.
One last thing I will say is that the content is not as easy as Yorcia Weald is. I'm sure there is a gimmick that may make it easier, but until that is known make sure you bring a WHM who is on top of his game. The NMs do a LOT of very damaging AoE in quick succession and wipes/deaths are very possible if any mistakes are made in the healing dept. The ironclad NM was very unpleasant the first time around.
It is definitely stressful playing healer in there right now- at least with 3 melee DD. Setup was: MNK/MNK/BLU/COR/BRD/WHM . . . even with Auspice the NMs got pretty spammy. SE said the content was supposed to be "relaxed" but our group in full DM/RF+1 level gear and a 4 song R/M/E BRD had a full wipe a couple of times.
Iron clad, Naraka, Orthrus, behemoth NMs died in ~1mn, they were really easy for us
We got acuex NM twice, this one is aoe spammy and each aoe = 2-3 status ailment to remove. With 1 formless strikes it dies in 2-3mn though.
Ape NM sucks just like umargh but it dies fast (beastruction)
Dunhallan NM (new Iron giant mob) took ~10mn to kill solo, because most of my attacks were blocked by his shied. With 2 DDs (1 in front 1 behind) it should take 2-3 mn.
start with fresh pieces as you get DA crit and acc. use stones on them individually until you get +2DA/crit +8-10acc on each respective piece, you wont feel as bad when you end up with three sets of useful gear. the minimal survival stat increases at the very least would be worth more than most af/relic upgrades would get you and you spend more time on those than you would farming the gil for the skirmish upgrades. this is obviously more relevent to people who are able to farm higher tier skirmish3 with other good players at this level, but still a far more valuable investment in the long run. especially when compared to almost any other gear in the game.
Is there a confirmed paradigm for Skirmish 3.0 augments yet? So it has 3 slots now? One for PDT (100%), one for MDT (not 100%) and one for the random augment like before?
It's V3 remember?
They also said they would NEVER make af+2 (while technically they didn't, calling it "reforged") but they did.
They also promised pet th....
Needs more legion abjuration gear+1
either way, anyone else feeling like they are starting to follow a pattern of doing almost exactly the same things for new gearsets that are almost exactly the same as all other gearsets? if they rereleased skirmish gear in blue with the same stats it wouldnt be far off, am i right? lol depressing regardless;;;;;
Has anyone tried making a +2 weapon to see what kinda damage they get?
Correct me if I'm wrong but the better +hth skill on Ninzas+2 puts them ahead of Oatixur on meleeing with only a bit of augments, no? Not sure if it makes up for the much lower ws dmg though, or how much more +dmg theyd need as an augment to make up the ws dmg...
Oatixur: +228 skill, +96 delay +126 dmg
Ninzas+2: +242 HTh skill, +51 delay, +93 dmg
Oatixur: total of 668 skill, = 76.48+126 dmg = total of 202.5 weapon damage. (x60 = 12,150
Ninzas: total of 682 skill, = 78.02+93 dmg = total of 171.02 weapon damage. (x60 = 10,261
Oatixur: 280+96 = 376 delay, 12,150 / 375 delay = 32.4 dps
Ninzas: 280+51 = 331 delay 10,261 / 331 delay = 31
to hit 32.4 dps though, ninzas would need...
32.4 x 331 = 10,724
10,724 / 60 = 178.74
178.74 - 171.02 = only +8 base dmg augment on it to surprass the melee dps of oatixur.
And thats not including the +14 accuracy on ninzas, as well as whatever other augments you can get on it...
Thoughts?
+1 Stone gave D+23 on GreatAxe for a total of D 270
another was D+22 Acc+9 WSacc +2
Well the dmg/delay is kinda a poor judge of a weapons capablility. Would still have a tad more base dmg for ws or counters even if you upped it's "dps" to be the same. Slightly more att. Also another problem is this is h2h which has a whole bunch of delay added onto the front and has delay caps based on that total. So using that dps with normal amount of martial arts and not hitting delay caps put oats 4.5% ahead but if we assumed at the delay cap oats goes up to a 9.1% advantage
Seems on weapons at least they added more possible augments.
Uffrat +2
Yay pet pdt you can now have more pdt while you bp lol
