I watched every episode and managed to miss the fact it had been cancelled for a full year after the fact. I just figured they were making new episodes. Did not like that goddamn carney though

Zachary Levi has signed on to star in NBC’s Heroes Reborn, EW has confirmed.
A relaunch of the original superhero drama, which ran from 2006 to 2010, the 13-episode event series will feature a brand new story, though Jack Coleman is slated to reprise his role as Noah Bennett, a.k.a. HRG.
“We’re still keeping Zac’s role under wraps because everything is shrouded in mystery for this miniseries, but we’re very excited he’s been cast,” NBC boss Bob Greenblatt told reporters at the Television Critics Associations winter TV previews, noting that more castings will be announced over the next few weeks.
Added Levi: “One of my first, and fondest, memories of joining the NBC family in 2007 was having the pleasure of getting to know Tim Kring, and the cast of Heroes. I was a fan of their collective work and always thought it was such a fantastic and fun world they got to play in. With Heroes: Reborn, I’m honored to have the opportunity to bring more of that world to life, and excited to help in offering the fans of the franchise an epic new installation of a series that made such a huge impact on entertainment.”
I was actually starting to re-like Heroes on the last season before it got cancelled. First season was so great; everything in between was anywhere from meh to terrible. I'm cautiously optimistic that the reboot will be good. I'm glad Noah is back, here's hoping Matt and Hiro come back too. Everyone else, do not care.
You guys remember that time when Peter got a girlfriend in Ireland, abandoned her in an apocalyptic future and then she was never seen again? Haha, good times. Classic Peter.
I'd give it a chance just because of Zachary Levi. After Chuck dude is seriously under appreciated.
To be fair, they had a really difficult task ahead of them, trying to keep Peter and Hiro (who were basically omnipotent by show's end) from instantly solving every problem. They made Hiro an idiot and gave Peter amnesia. The right solution was to just write them out of the story completely (or at least 99%). Night-omnipotent characters make for really good villains, but terrible protagonists.
Nope.
Zachary Quinto has turned down an offer to return to the series, he "loved" the series the way it was

OH NOES TEH GUY WITH THE HORN-RIMMED GLASSES!
Worst teaser ever.
so, there will be no sylar or invincible cheerleader?
why watch?
Hiro is back now as well they just announced.
I liked Sylar. I didn't like how they constantly took the powers away or made Peter super gimp. Was so needless. Don't make someone, basically God and you don't need to Depower them constantly.
They wrote themselves into a corner with Peter and Sylar, I just hope they don't make the same mistakes twice.
In a way, this reboot is sorta what they had planned to do with each season of Heroes anyway since not everyone is coming back.
